First Kingddom all, let me say that this is a pure strategy game with elements of adventure and an expansive world. There are not enough of these quest type, simulation, adventure games,so that even with a Fun Pass Free Trial,I can't find games that I want to play, let alone purchase! It has an atmosphere all of its own that you quickly become absorbed in. Easy to learn. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. In that respect it's just like City of Fools though it doesn't look like it at first glance! It's just as good, also with wizards and potions. It is soooo wonderful to play something that isn't ot same old HO or TM. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your review. You can start with this HOK and be perfectly Quadrium 3, but if you enjoy the demo and buy it, go ahead and Dolphin Dice Slots out the original. Submit Thank you for writing a post! A funny challenge. As you might expect, there's a lot of back-and-forth between locations, but there's a map that can transport you. I'd usually be wishing for timed "missions" to complete but this just isn't that Hero of the Kingdom II of game - and it's all the better for it. The Hero's series is the best.

I'll warn you that there is quite a bit of backtracking and if that drives you crazy, then this game probably isn't for you. They are missing out! Don't be mislead by the simple graphics or the strange nature of the game which is so different than most games on BF. I particularly liked the mushroom picking! I will probably play it again, after i finish the first one. But if you can learn to manage your gathered resources and gold wisely, you won't have to backtrack as often. Can't wait for the 3rd edition. Like I said, there's no timer, so just take your time and search every little nook-and-cranny! Wonderful game, so different from the other games. I didn't play the first Hero of the Kingdom game, but apparently this one picks up where the first one left off. If you liked the first one, you will like this one more. You're learning new skills, like fishing and gathering shells and crabs and helping fellow villagers complete tasks until pirates attack, kidnap your sister and overrun the village. Made me dream while playing. The inventory page is nice. You can slay all the bad guys, as long as you've collected enough supplies.

Once I started Rhe couldn't stop. But once again, BFG has miscategorised it. I highly recommend this game series. I don't know why it's so much fun to collect eggs and mushrooms the tiniest pictures ever while you raise funds for mercenaries, swords, and lumber so you can take on pirates. You and your sister are happy and secure in your new home.

At least "strategy" is a closer match than "time management". It is soooo wonderful to play something that isn't the same old HO or TM. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. By the end of the game you look back and realize how simple it was. I barely remember the first Hero of the Kingdom game, but I remembered I liked it very much. Good storyline. But once again, BFG has miscategorised it. It's really nice to find a game that isn't just a new storyline attached to the same old game play. Note that your review won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly. I disagree with a previous comment that you should make a list of where things are. It is about questing and collecting, some of my favorite things in RPG type games. Very casual point and click, search and find, adventure. It is reminiscent of the old adventure games without the stress of dying all the time. Yay, a sequel!

Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your review. Now you're rescuing your sister from pirates, and there are a host of side stories going on. Basically, you and your sister have been adopted by a kindly old gentlemen in a fishing village after a devastating earthquake has destroyed your home and kinsman. You have to use your imagination to get gold coins and fame. There are not enough of these quest type, simulation, adventure games,so that even with a Fun Pass Free Trial,I can't find games that I want to play, let alone purchase! The progression is well written and if you get stuck there are always other quests to work on while you think on it or look for clues, or, of course cheat click the help which gives you a hint - not necessarily the actual answer. A lot different than I thought it would be. I liked the trade system and during the second playthrough I was able to manage my money a bit better until I figured out the infinite gold exploit and spent an hour piling up the gold. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Aqutalion from Yay! I enjoyed the second so much, I went back and purchased the 1st which I had played while on the unlimited game pass , and replayed, and after 2 years, it almost felt like a new game. I would love to live in one of those islands!!! Highly recommended!

There are mushrooms, herbs and berries to be gathered, boars and wild goats to hunt, treasure to find and ghosts to tame. I'm an animator and illustrator freelancing for the gaming, film, and TV industries and it's hard to impress me. I barely remember the first Hero of the Kingdom game, but I remembered I liked it very much. Please and many thanks! Truly recommended. After you make sure everybody is okay, then it's basically up to you to go after the pirates and rescue your sister. Hopefully the developers will not make the same mistake in the third installment since I did ruin some aspects of the game using the exploit - couldn't help myself. Date published: You're learning new skills, like fishing and gathering shells and crabs and helping fellow villagers complete tasks until pirates attack, kidnap your sister and overrun the village. I hope there will soon be a part 3! Very casual point and click, search and find, adventure. I was so drawn into this game.

  1. Now you're rescuing your sister from pirates, and there are a host of side stories going on. But if you like leisurely games that rely on strategic planning, gathering of resources, completion of assigned tasks and accumulation of wealth, then give this game a try. So much so that I played both the Hero games then immediately played them both again and will probably play all three when the third installment is released - whenever that will be. I'd usually be wishing for timed "missions" to complete but this just isn't that sort of game - and it's all the better for it.

  2. There is not a lot of direction or hand-holding, but you can utilize the hint button if you get stuck and it's really not that hard to figure out what you need to do next. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your review. But it's not enough of an issue, for me, anyway, that it detracts from gameplay. First of all, let me say that this is a pure strategy game with elements of adventure and an expansive world. If you enjoy an immersive experience and don't require bells and whistles like cut scenes, this is a must.

  3. It's not a HOG but there are little goodies hidden around that are useful but not really necessary. This is refreshing and different. The Hero of the Kingdom II was entertaining and it held the game together.

  4. You get to kill bad guys and monsters, get treasure, help the locals and more. There's a pretty strong resource management aspect, too, as most of the quests involve finding the objects and ingredients necessary to complete the task, and getting some ingredients require collecting other ingredients first. If you liked the first one, you will like this one more. Once you've exhausted the resources in a particular area, that's pretty much it, unless you gain a new skill that you can backtrack and use in a previously visited area where you've not already utilized that skill.

  5. Because of the different order you could use in completing tasks, I can see a potential for replay value here. I found the Hero games as I was searching for a game to fill in the space between The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. I am an avid gamer and pretty hard to impress with such simple graphics and premise, but was pleasantly surprised.

  6. It's so much fun! Once I started I couldn't stop. Mixture of adventure and hidden objects. So if you like intense, dynamic, fast moving games with lots of action and you don't like reading a lot of text pop-ups, you're probably not going to like this game.

  7. Don't forget about the zombies! The gameplay is what makes this game stand out. It's a long playing game with an interesting storyline. If you're not familiar with the first game, this is a basically a point-and-click adventure. Submit Thank you for writing a post!

  8. I was really, really looking forward to this, and it did not disappoint. It's a long playing game with an interesting storyline. Basically, you and your sister have been adopted by a kindly old gentlemen in a fishing village after a devastating earthquake has destroyed your home and kinsman. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Rewritten from Wow!!

  9. It plays like an older RPG. You and your sister are happy and secure in your new home. Mixture of adventure and hidden objects. You start off being as confused and overwhelmed as the character you play.

  10. I hope there will soon be a part 3! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by tutortime from Loved it! Strategy, seek and find, money management, memory, and exploring. Bigger world, better story, more skills to learn, more items to find, more quests to do.

  11. I'd usually be wishing for timed "missions" to complete but this just isn't that sort of game - and it's all the better for it. Note that your post won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly. Made sure to get all the achievements the second time through! A lot different than I thought it would be.
