Amaranthine Voyage: Legacy of the Guardians Collectors Edition

Eve Glover loved her grandfather, especially the stories he told her during her youth – stories about a mythical world full of kingdoms and strange creatures. Now that she's inherited his home, she's beginning to discover there are many secrets that her grandfather was hiding from her. She's quickly learning that his stories might not be as imaginary as she once thought. Travel to the world of Arden and save it from destruction in this fantastical hidden-object puzzle adventure.

The art work, animation, game play, story line, voice overs, and the music Extras: 13 HOS and 18 Puzzles to replay. This sequal does not disappoint and the legacy is continued with a charming storyline, beautiful scenary and challenging puzzles. What more could you want?! Happy gaming. We have 38 symbols that reminded me of gold statuettes. Or at least it feels old. In my opinion, Eipix has outdone itself. I mean, who could resist a ride on a tame dinosaur! Items are not hard to find and scenes are pretty clear. I think all levels of players will enjoy this one. O the music! I started playing the game yesterday and am still not quite finished. They are fairly large in most cases, but can be a little difficult to see when blended into the background. For the most part, the color is very nice.

There is a Medallion which you have to charge with energy orbs, and there isn't a Helper. It would be nice to see a blend that will keep those who want more challenging HOPA games happy as well as satisfying those who play for relaxation and enjoyment. This one, number seven just hit my favorite spot. There is one HOP that Eidtion very different as we move from one Voyzge: to another to find the objects we need. Happy gaming. This sequal does not disappoint and the legacy is continued with a charming storyline, beautiful scenary and challenging puzzles. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by dancemom1 from Another world to explore! Unfortunately, this compelling concept is ruined by a confusing storyline that is hard to follow. We have 38 symbols that reminded me of gold statuettes. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by nextgengranny from started to give it 4 stars, but Yes, I am adding it to my collection. So I was quite sad to learn this would be the last one. So, overall, Whispered Secrets: Forgotten Sins "ok" game.

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by nariiska from Family Secrets reveal a legacy I have enjoyed playing this series and was thrilled to see another chapter available. No point in even trying to "solve" some of them! The Burning Sky has a lot of potential but the demo was so short that I felt like I was just getting into the game when it ended. Amaranthine Voyage: The Burning Sky is the 8th edition in this fan favorite and it is also the last. Although the flair and era is prehistoric aka dinosaur-y , the puzzles and objects you interact with are pretty much technologically advanced. The graphics seem to be a mixed bag of the original old style with lots of mistiness and then at other times we have crisp and clear scenes. This sequal does not disappoint and the legacy is continued with a charming storyline, beautiful scenary and challenging puzzles. As I said, not a challenging game, but interesting. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by fiewi1 from 3,8 stars is fair rating if you're into dinosaurs! Kind of wish there was more interaction with the dinosaurs, but other than that I had a great deal of fun. I prefer areas with not only the location name, but an actual picture of it as well. Yes, we travel to another world to help save us all, so beware, there are very bright lights when traveling.

There is more music ths sound FX, but what we have it well done. The original early games in Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle Collectors Edition series were very good but some of the later games have really not been that great. This could be due to an effort to make the games more difficult but the danger is that it is making the HOPS frustrating and tedious. And I'm guessing that the No8 accompanying the title is there for a reason The scenery is Defense of Egypt, I Guardianw remember the music which for Mahjong Match means it wasn't awful and the voices are good, Guardiaans with lip synch and others not. It lent so much to the game. Still, I'm gonna recommend it. Aside from the graphics we have voiceovers that are also not too great. HOPs are a combination Mad Mouse interactive lists, silhouettes, and riddle type. Because there are some interesting puzzles and because I want to see how this storyline plays out I will definitely buy the full game.

HOS - I enjoyed these, especially the one where you had to interact with two different scenes. Wished this scene would have lasted muuuuch looooonger. The graphics seem to be a mixed bag of the original old style with lots of mistiness and then at other times we have crisp and clear scenes. Map - you receive it fairly shortly into the game. Where the CE always becomes a great value is with the in-game Strategy Guide that can be very helpful if one is stuck and needs a bit of help. Unfortunately, even though I did purchase the game, the extras are probably not worth the extra cost. I was pleased with the game play and the plot. Or, maybe one of the former Amaranthine Voyages? The original early games in the series were very good but some of the later games have really not been that great. I have enjoyed all the installments of this fast paced adventure series since the original game "The Tree of Life" launched in January of It lent so much to the game. The games are also becoming shorter. I spent far too much time in the temple, I loved playing the Glockenspiel, totally irrelevant to game-play, just fun fun fun. Is it worthy of your free time?

I was pleased with the game play and the plot. There is a Medallion which you have to charge with energy orbs, and there isn't a Helper. The puzzles were challenging and fun I think all levels of players will enjoy this one. Eve Glover is back and this time she has been called to explore an excavation site in the Montana Foothills that had been shut down twenty years earlier due to an earthquake that made the site unstable and unsafe for further investigation. The story of the main game was complete, the Bonus Chapter is a prequel, a story about one of the characters from the main game. Where this game becomes excellent, at least for me, is with the puzzles that are quite different than usual and challenging. We have 38 symbols that reminded me of gold statuettes. The graphics are beautiful and encourage further play. You get to collect in every scene frescoes of dinosaurs embedded in surfaces like stone. The graphics are gorgeous, from the skyline of Seattle, to the night sky on Arden, to the bioluminescent flora on same. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by chrissy39 from Jurassic Park? Of the newer games, Winter Neverending is one of the better ones. Aside from the graphics we have voiceovers that are also not too great. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Pilot1 from Challenging, fun, and extremely well-crafted!

  1. The art work, animation, game play, story line, voice overs, and the music HOPs are a combination of interactive lists, silhouettes, and riddle type. Wonderfully crafted of dinosaurs.

  2. For the most part, the color is very nice. I only skipped 2 puzzles which for me is a fantastic effort. A toe, no, claw tapping dinosaur in the intro got me interested; after the introduction and the warm up, the player is taken to a colourful land somewhere in time and space. I mean, who could resist a ride on a tame dinosaur! Even with graphics that are not quite up to par, the puzzles and HOP scenes override that shortcoming.

  3. I started playing the game yesterday and am still not quite finished. Honestly, I paid the CE price just to witness the graphics in this game alone. This series was not among my top favourites, but it grew on me over the years. This is very helpful, since you visit the same locations multiple times.

  4. This one, number seven just hit my favorite spot. Only if you're out of options I didn't care much for the jump map, it was just to bland. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by chrissy39 from Jurassic Park? Unfortunately, even though I did purchase the game, the extras are probably not worth the extra cost.

  5. I really like that particular puzzle and believe there will be others ahead. There are some things I enjoy about this game but the storyline was a bit confusing. Ok, it has some good HOS for people who like those and a bubble shooter for those that don't.

  6. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by JakeGrean from Awesome!!!!! Some have a bit of challenge and take some time and thought to complete, but I haven't seen anything new. So, overall, an "ok" game. I have loved spending time solving them. Of the newer games, Winter Neverending is one of the better ones.

  7. As always, I recommend you try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Pilot1 from Challenging, fun, and extremely well-crafted! There are some things I enjoy about this game but the storyline was a bit confusing.

  8. There are some things I enjoy about this game but the storyline was a bit confusing. It lent so much to the game. As usual, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story line to others who do a much better job than I.

  9. I prefer areas with not only the location name, but an actual picture of it as well. I have enjoyed this series and look forward to another episode. Date published:

  10. Also, I'm not crazy about those ugly interactive HOPs. O the music! There are some puzzles that are creative and different from those we see consistently from this developer and I applaud their efforts to keep most of us happy — particularly those of us who play virtually every HOPA game to come our way.

No point in even trying to "solve" some of them! So, overall, an "ok" game. There is one HOP that is very different as we move from one room to another to find the objects we need.
