I really enjoyed this game and it felt like I was right there with the 3 characters trying Wedding Gone Wrong: Solitaire Murder Mystery solve the mystery and the characters voices are really well done, did not find their chatter tedious at all, I quite enjoyed it.

This is an older game, but the graphics, sound effects, and voiceovers were very well done and there weren't too many HOs old type, non-interactive. It is great fun and very challenging in a fun way. They rush out onto the moor and discover what appears to be the prostrate body of Sir Henry Baskerville who has seemingly fallen to his death in an effort to escape something which horrified him. When someone demonstrates a special scientific or logical skill like Mortimer's phrenological pursuits , he recognizes a like-minded person. One of his friends and patients, Sir Charles Baskerville , an elderly but extremely wealthy baronet, has recently been found dead from an apparent heart attack in the grounds of his country house, Baskerville Hall. When he's outsmarted by a disguised Stapleton in London, he's more amused and appreciative than anything else by his "worthy" foe. And they mostly agree. With his haste and the foggy night she considers it impossible that he will survive the attempt. The help button is great and I am not ashamed to say, I used it.

Some of the scenes were a little dark, but I can't adjust the brightness of my monitor so that may not be an issue for anyone else. Mrs Barrymore steps in and explains that Selden, the escaped convict hiding on the Moore, is her brother and that she and her husband have been supplying him with food out of pity. Fun game, I enjoyed it. As per a previous review, I too have owned the game for a couple of years and realised I've never written a review and i've played it quite a few times. This keeps to the character of Sherlock Holmes which is really good it also keeps for the most part to the original story. One night with his friends, he discovered that the girl had escaped and he chased her across the moor. Stapleton says that he knows the moor better that anyone else and claims to be able to traverse the dangerous mire to the heart in order to further his hobbies of botany and entomology. But he also takes genuine pleasure in going to an art gallery or heading to the opera with Watson. While Watson forgives Holmes for not telling him of Holmes' secret travels, we still find it insulting to Watson that Holmes decides to keep his best friend in the dark about his plans. Upon realizing that she is mistaken she asks Watson to persuade Sir Henry to leave. The other unnamed brother has been in France, who has raised a son, Sir Henry Baskerville , who is the heir to Sir Charles's estate and fortune and the last of the Baskervilles. But how could I know—how could I know—that he would risk his life alone upon the moor in the face of all my warnings? What a concept.

Later on in the novel, when he worries that the rising fog will keep them from being able to save Sir Henry from Stapleton, we're reminded once again that Holmes may be incredibly gifted, but he's as subject to chance and fate as the rest of us.

  3. The few hard puzzles added a nice challenge and you can still skip and get hints in the hard mode. If you don't have it, get it! Sir Henry is instructed to walk home alone across the moor.

  4. When the action of The Hound of the Baskervilles begins, Watson's inspecting a walking stick. When his friends caught up with him, the girl had died of exhaustion and fear. It is the greatest blow which has befallen me in my career. What a concept.
