Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1-Slide buttons to correct positions according to clue shown. The mini-games were a little too easy as far as the Hard Mode goes, but I still enjoyed more than I disliked. It begins, as many of the Dark Tales. Tonight a special performance of Zula and her partner is scheduled. The Mini-Games I will admit are pretty easy to solve, even on the Hard difficulty setting, but I don't really care how hard or easy puzzles are, as long as they are fun, and I enjoyed several of them. Guests are there by invitation only and Dupin has yours. Love this series!! I would not have paid "collectors" price for this one, if I had done the preview first. I should note that the graphics were pretty good, as usual; as was the familiar Dark Tales theme music. You catch up in time to have Jacob hurtle a poison gas canister at you and you see him drag off Dupin as you pass out.

I can't believe so many people are marking this game down because it is not the Bistro Boulevard storyline as Poe's version. Fortunately they are still fighting in the garden. For example, at one point, we are shot at in a room with a well; the next second, we find ourselves in a dungeon. What is important to me is whether this game was fun to play. If Eegar recall, then they were basic games, not collectors editions? While the thd of the gameplay is nothing worth writing home about, there is a few elements that spark our interest. So how did we end up there? It's a good thing you made it to the show on time, unfortunately, this show will be the Grand Final, but is it just an elaborate Grand Illusion? A good Darm of Dupin, Zula, has been threatened Piit. You are going to join him as he strives to protect an old friend, Zula, one of the performers. The game includes several zoom-zone mini-hidden object scenes, which adds to the complexity of the game, as well as options to perform different Tqles: on certain tasks. Detective Dupin will be a special guest star participant, so this will be a party to die for! One of the reasons is that we think that AMAX Interactive put more thoughts into crafting the gameplay of this sequel more than they did with the past few installments.

But then she is hit by a dart and falls to the floor, dead. The storyline in the game is interesting enough to propel the game forward, but lacks the level of originality that is needed to make the game more than just an ordinary murder mystery. I do recommend it, but Not the collectors edition. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1-Slide buttons to correct positions according to clue shown. In short, this game was quite disappointing on a lot of levels. The storyline is somewhat choppy, and parts of it really don't make any sense at all. HOS vary but most are lists. So that was rather annoying itself. The game includes several zoom-zone mini-hidden object scenes, which adds to the complexity of the game, as well as options to perform different actions on certain tasks. Think of something else please! Guests are there by invitation only and Dupin has yours. It begins, as many of the Dark Tales.

I can not tell you how much I wish I could have recommended the game. The storyline in Drak game is Tals: enough to Sparkle 2 the game forward, but lacks the level of originality that is needed to make the game more than just an ordinary murder mystery. Think of something else please! As a medium and illusionist, she has foreseen her own death even, but Dupin and you shall protect her. I can't believe so many people are marking this game down because it is not the same storyline as Poe's version. The puzzles if you can call them that, I think of them as a nuisance, where one must drag Stones of Rome a worm like shape without touching the sides, for this neurologically challenged woman well, never going to happen. Detective Dupin will be a special guest star participant, so this will be a party to die for! So how did we end up there? This should serve as a warning to players who like to purchase Wonderland Solitaire the standard edition of games!

One puzzle is a maze — nicely done and not too easy. Bad stuff: Same ol' complaints - missteps and logic fails abound. I can't recommend what I will not be purchasing. After you and Dupin enter a room where a prime suspect was locked in with the doorman, Matt, the "bad guy," Jacob, Zula's partner, jumps through a window into the garden. She has received threats upon her life and has foreseen her death. Short game! Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by Zurreen from Could have been a lot better This game is said to be based on a poem by Edgar Allan Poe. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by scoobydoo from The 13th series game for Friday the 13th!!!! We did not mind the music, they did not do much to elevate the game, but also did not distract us. And cuz, though this is fun, and the mini games and story line etc.. As a medium and illusionist, she has foreseen her own death even, but Dupin and you shall protect her. One of the reasons is that we think that AMAX Interactive put more thoughts into crafting the gameplay of this sequel more than they did with the past few installments.

The Mini-Games I will admit are pretty easy to solve, even on the Hard difficulty setting, but I don't really care how hard or easy puzzles are, as long as they are fun, and I enjoyed several of them. He is soon overpowered by the illusionist and taken down into a cellar of an old building near Pendulum House. In short, this game was quite disappointing on a lot of levels. I can not tell you how much I wish I could have recommended the game. Play it. Short game! The minigames are a mixture of challenging and not so challenging and Dupin is again clean-shaven he is, afterall, supposed to be a gentleman. I actually checked out that poem, and the game is nothing like the poem at all. A complete fabrication with little or no relation to the claimed poem. So that was rather annoying itself. As if the storyline was not bad enough, the twist from the main game to the bonus chapter is worse. When you finally are inside the house, Zula enters the room, vanishes in blue smoke the next moment and reapears a second later — magic. What is important to me is whether this game was fun to play.. At a crowded party, the fire extinguisher is locked to the wall with two amulets that must be found before you can take it. That is really what they should return to, because they are good at it.

  1. The game includes several zoom-zone mini-hidden object scenes, which adds to the complexity of the game, as well as options to perform different actions on certain tasks. They are presented in minigames and puzzles, both easy as well as more challenging. Pursuit is not easy, you have to overcome a lot of obstacles. By the time you've run back and forth retrieving the other masks from safe, cabinet, and trunk, using a seeming unending supply of amulets, there seems little point in rushing after Dupin and Jacob.

  2. You are going to join him as he strives to protect an old friend, Zula, one of the performers. Date published: I can't believe so many people are marking this game down because it is not the same storyline as Poe's version. For the price, I don't think it's worth it. Left behind are you, with the task of helping Dupin.

  3. My final complaint is that although I really liked the storyline, it doesn't seem to follow Poe's vision, so I'll ask again, Why does Amax insist on hanging onto ERS's apron strings? Meeting point is the Pendulum House. While the basis of the gameplay is nothing worth writing home about, there is a few elements that spark our interest. I can not tell you how much I wish I could have recommended the game.

  4. In short, this game was quite disappointing on a lot of levels. Dupin goes after him just before a security gate clangs down. The games earn achievements and build upon each other!!

  5. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by heartblob from dark tales indeed but is something missing. And, yes, there were at least a couple of very good puzzles in the game. You are in front of the house now, Dupin is nowhere to be seen. The Hidden Object Scenes are just okay, nothing spectacular, nothing really new. This is the first Dark Tales game I have enjoyed in quite a long time, in fact, I almost gave The Pit and the Pendulum 5 stars, but it does have a few features that could've been better.

  6. You catch up in time to have Jacob hurtle a poison gas canister at you and you see him drag off Dupin as you pass out. Play it. The storyline is somewhat choppy, and parts of it really don't make any sense at all. Tonight a special performance of Zula and her partner is scheduled.

  7. We are left with one impression at the end of the main game only to be told something different in the bonus chapter. Sure, if you would like to play a game without much attention to the story or achievements, you might enjoy this game. At a crowded party, the fire extinguisher is locked to the wall with two amulets that must be found before you can take it. After you and Dupin enter a room where a prime suspect was locked in with the doorman, Matt, the "bad guy," Jacob, Zula's partner, jumps through a window into the garden.
