Hidden Expedition: Midgards End

Eipix Entertainment presents another thrilling installment of the popular Hidden Expedition series! On your toes, Agent! Someone has just attacked the H.E.L.P. academy, breaking into the vault and making off with an ancient map. All signs point to an inside job, but who would be brazen – and foolish – enough to do such a thing? And what do they want with a map that’s tied to a Norse myth about the end of the world? Set out across the globe, from Budapest to Greenland, in this action-packed Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

The storyline held my interest all the way through the demo. Even though this is really not my favorite game genre I do like Eipix' extras: the collectibles, the Souvenir Room, and the morphs. This is quite literally the best Hidden Expedition to date, just when you think this series couldn't get more action packed and intense, they up their game.

The characters are well done - they look like actual people, and they move realistically. Freyja's husband is often absent which saddens the goddess, causing her to weep red gold tears for him.   5. Why am I playing this sort of world saving game? It is all about Norse Mythology which implies a lot of research went into the building of the storyline. The devs did everything to confuse me, and they did it well!

The HOPs are fun, and the puzzle games are challenging without being so ridiculously complex that I end up swearing at the computer or so easy that they insult my intelligence. I'm going to say yes.   9. It's balanced more in HOs and puzzles than usual, though Eipix is usually puzzle-heavy. Music: very suspenseful. Solution W. Puzzles are challenging, Ho's are different, we got morphing, and above all an interesting end of the world story.
