IF there is another game in this series, I hope that the wonderful team at Mad Head Games will go back to the basics and create a terrific mystery like the Strangler of Paris or even like Collecfors Adam Wolfe games that are inspired and top-shelf games. Sadly, I was so put off by the presentation of the game that I Mad Mouse it difficult to concentrate and stay involved. The production team did a great job with the sights and sounds. You are going through rooms in Donna's friend's manor looking for clues, solving puzzles, etc. Most of the time, the game is pretty predictable. The CE version of the game is rather light on extra content although there Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist morphing objects and some fairly "in your face" collectibles to find. As this signals the end of the Demo, you will be as happy to get out as most players will be! The first thing I noticed was the lack of lip movement when a character Editoin. Since we all have differing tastes in games I recommend that you try the demo to see if this game might be one you will enjoy. The game drags because there is very little action. There aren't a whole lot of HOP's or MG's for that matterand there are no alternate puzzles available. Next up, I've got to melt some ice, do I use my matches, do I use my kerosene lantern, of course not, they won't do the job, but I can use a single match Mad Mouse catch a stick on fire without any fuel! Those Trse for an intense challenge won't get it from the game either.

Good stuff: Madhead put all the usual elements into the game, HOPs, mini-games, and a sort of a story. How about of each? There are so many inconsistencies and logic fails, that one is left scratching one's head, trying to keep up with the story. Kathi sent you petals of a flower that will save a victim from a tree attack. Those looking for an intense challenge won't get it from the game either. Lost Grimoires 3: The Forgotten Well have read the reviews The production team did a great job with the sights and sounds. They even spelt 'Donna' wrong in the dialogue, that is how much effort was put into it. Please try the demo, as the changing time periods and lack of character and skill in anything will convince you too that this was a black day at Mad Head! I may not like the story, but I loved the bling available in the Collector's Edition version. Rated 4 out of 5 by hydrogibbon from I don't understand the bad reviews I just bought this as the catch of the week and am enjoying the game play. The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes are beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items. Donna is on her way to see her school friend Kathi who has Editlon her with Deeathly urgent plea for help. And you run thru Rangy Lils Wild West Adventure house repeatedly, to little purpose. And the victims' names are tacked up on a sign post at the ValGor: The Beginning of the driveway. I'm more than a little upset that MHG dropped the ball with this uninteresting and ridiculous plot. The hidden object scenes and the puzzles are also quite standard. To make matters worse, the graphics are horrible at times, close ups in some rTee make everything look like it was drawn for a cartoon. There aren't a whole lot of HOP's or MG's for that matterand there are no alternate puzzles available.

In terms of entertainment and relaxation, this game delivers just what you need! If you can't present a complete SE game then don't bother. IF there is another game in this series, I hope that the wonderful team at Mad Head Games will go back to the basics and create a terrific mystery like the Strangler of Paris or even like the Adam Wolfe games that are inspired and top-shelf games. I thought the first Donna Brave was really good and bought this one untried - lucky it was during a sale!! I'm sure it's hard to deal with entrenched camps who hate HOPs or hate puzzles. 1. Graphics: They are absolutely gorgeous. And you run thru the house repeatedly, to little purpose. Yes the characters are wooden but that's very little of the game. Start with a good story, and the rest follows. Happy gaming!

  2. The remaining extras are always found in CEs such as a bonus game, strategy guide, etc. Since we all have differing tastes in games I recommend that you try the demo to see if this game might be one you will enjoy. Many of the scenes offer Panoramic views, where you can scroll further to the left or right in an attempt to make the player feel like they are actually there. He seems undecided if she will die in 12 or 24 hours, but he's sure destroying the tree will cure her, maybe. As always, try if out for yourself and see what you think.

  3. Happy gaming! Kathi sent you petals of a flower that will save a victim from a tree attack. Between story inconsistencies and blurry artwork, is there anyone at Madhead doing quality control? Start with a good story, and the rest follows. Are there magnets involved here, how did it stay attached?

  4. The storyline does a nice job also. There are Silhouetted Shape finds, Matching Pairs and scenes where you place objects into the scene instead of taking them out. I may not like the story, but I loved the bling available in the Collector's Edition version. IF there is another game in this series, I hope that the wonderful team at Mad Head Games will go back to the basics and create a terrific mystery like the Strangler of Paris or even like the Adam Wolfe games that are inspired and top-shelf games. If the wounds caused by the tree are fatal and you have 24 hours to live give or take a few hours how will it fix things if I destroy the tree?

  5. They even spelt 'Donna' wrong in the dialogue, that is how much effort was put into it. Are there magnets involved here, how did it stay attached? 6. He seemed so sure she would live 24 hours, just a second ago, but now she has less than a day? I know the Mad Head team can do it because they are so talented, and I look forward to what they can do with a sequel in the Donna Brave series. Donna is on her way to see her school friend Kathi who has contacted her with an urgent plea for help. Next up, I've got to melt some ice, do I use my matches, do I use my kerosene lantern, of course not, they won't do the job, but I can use a single match to catch a stick on fire without any fuel!

  7. Perhaps this developer will go back to its roots and put more time and effort into creating the games that are worthy of having the Mad Head name on them. Why send them to you when people are now dying in her house? In fact, the entire second chapter from what I can recall, told me nothing more about the plot, I knew as much about the plot entering the third chapter as I did towards the end of the demo!

  8. He seems undecided if she will die in 12 or 24 hours, but he's sure destroying the tree will cure her, maybe. I find a wooden tool box that of course is missing a handle, and I simply can't open the lid until I find a replacement. There aren't a whole lot of HOP's or MG's for that matter , and there are no alternate puzzles available. The animals are totally adorable.

  9. Between story inconsistencies and blurry artwork, is there anyone at Madhead doing quality control? He seems undecided if she will die in 12 or 24 hours, but he's sure destroying the tree will cure her, maybe. The puzzles are more challenging, and they are smartly integrated into the storyline.

You will definitely get your money's worth if you enjoy sleuthing, but items to find can be frustrating to find. 11. Most of the time, the game is pretty predictable. Thanks for the reviews. Oh looky here, an iron handle, I simply place it on the lid, and it lifts the lid with ease.

  12. Next up, I've got to melt some ice, do I use my matches, do I use my kerosene lantern, of course not, they won't do the job, but I can use a single match to catch a stick on fire without any fuel! After a brief chat when you arrived Kathi is grabbed by tree roots that appear and whisk her away as she screams for your help, which is probably the most action you will see in this game. I'm sure it's hard to deal with entrenched camps who hate HOPs or hate puzzles.

  13. I am shocked; absolutely shocked that Mad Head would put their name on this bottom-of-the-barrel game. You will definitely get your money's worth if you enjoy sleuthing, but items to find can be frustrating to find. I must destroy the vile death tree, or Kathi will die in less than a day!

  14. And I just like looking at the scenery. Then Kathi's dad mentions two different time frames for her death. Date published: Rated 1 out of 5 by mymetime from Second Album Syndrome??
