I loved the puzzles. All characters were live actors with voice acting that ranged from good to overdone with some having exceptionally long pauses that detracted from their performances. We may not be finding too many of the truly great games any longer. I played this one when it first out and never give a review. Other than that it was a great game, Lots of challenges and good length. I downloaded it on my Android recently and bam! The mysterious lady called the Black Widow is responsible for all this. The other reviewers go into more mechanics and detail, but I wanted to make sure it got 5 stars from me! I spent some time looking for flies before I realized they were behind the inventory screen. This is a great game if you want to be on the edge of your seat at all times. This is quality gaming and a dying breed. You are a detective and go to Andville where there has been a series of murders. They look good and are appropriate for each scene but I would like the dialogue to go faster. Not too many which is good.

This game is engaging and has a great story. This game is long and I love that. Hidden object scenes are junk pile list type with some interactive objects but all fit the locations with objects that make sense and most were easily found. Game will War Chariots: Royal Legion your interest throughout. Shocked, all you can do is stare and, as you slowly recover, you realize the train has stopped but the Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist to your compartment is jammed. There something about their games that just make you feel warm and fuzzy and really immersed in the game. Now that it's JuneI am giving a 2nd review of this game and have added the 5th star. You do have to go through the journal to get to the map though, which was kind of pain. I played the whole game in one sitting and loved it all. Today's games are more of just child's play--pick up sticks or ball and jacks and becoming increasingly difficult to find a game with challenge and plot and all the right stuff. The inventory makes sense and not much backing up. Thank you Blam Games as developer you do make a good job! I could not put it down. Quick refill of Hint The Golden Years: Way Out West Web of Deceit: Black Widow Collectors Edition Advanced: No Sparkles, slower hint and Skip refills Hardcore : No Hints or Skips, although if you spend too long in a scene it will tell you there is something or not to do in that scene, which could annoy the more experienced. I have a number of SE that do this and it is very annoying.
I'd like to see more like it. The actors were a bit wooden and slow I thought. Anyway back to the main game. I like the interactive part of the HOS. The absolutely gorgeous scenery, interesting objects and spooky atmosphere ease the fear! Love it! Well thought-out story and gameplay. Quick refill of Hint and Skip Advanced: No Sparkles, slower hint and Skip refills Hardcore : No Hints or Skips, although if you spend too long in a scene it will tell you there is something or not to do in that scene, which could annoy the more experienced. Like everyone else, the actors portraying the characters spoke too slow not normal speed, found it easier to just read the dialogue and hit the skip button once done reading. I especially liked the video scenes. I was SO impressed with the quality of this game; the graphics are so stunning and detailed, it's as if I was there, wandering the web covered streets of Andville, dodging that gorgeous but deadly woman in black and her 8 legged minions. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by jazzynites1 from This was fun! This game is far better than any of the newer games I've played in the last year! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by usignuolo from Very enjoyable game - so long so as you don't mind spiders Bought this as a special offer and Lost Island: Mahjong Adventure very enjoyably surprised. Love the transporting map as I get very fed up with a game that has me running back and forth all Wixow the place. This game is long and I love that. Yay for us.
Music great, voice overs great. Date published: Because of the many going back to previous scenes, it was nice to have a teleporter map. I love that if a puzzle is too hard, I can get hints, or skip it altogether. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pcpat from One of the Best! This game was addictive for me. Your job is to stop her, and help a few others along the way, she has an army of spiders to do her bidding, there's a great fight between a giant spider and wasp, one of the cutscenes I replayed a few time, just loved it. The inventory is lockable but unfortunately it also hides some areas of interest in scenes when they are located near the bottom of the screen. The only thing about the game that annoyed me is whenever you click on something, even if you don't have what it needs, the text "i could use something here" came up. Love it! I applaud the designers vision and artistry in this game. Nice and gritty and realistic like I like it. The woman's suitcase was left behind and in it you find a letter from her brother, Santos, an inventor, asking her to come and help him as his wife, Morgana, is evil and wants to use his inventions to carry out her evil plans.
The game is excellent, however, the bar has been consistently lowered over time especially with the introduction of pay to play games. The key is to a locker in the station that contained another note telling his sister that if she is reading it then he is already dead and the answers are in his house. As the woman cries out for help, they encase her in a silk cacoon and drag her out the door as if she was a fly. There something about their games that just make you feel warm and fuzzy and really immersed in the game. I found some of the puzzles so tricky that even with cheating with the Strategy Guide. Love it! If you buy the C. The graphics are excellent, including actual people as part of the cast of characters, there are good challenging games and plenty of hidden objects puzzles. The fight between a massive metal spider and a huge wasp on top of the radio tower was one of my favourites. The mysterious lady called the Black Widow is responsible for all this. I would recommend this game, I played casual mode but I can see playing a harder mode would be a good challenge to those that play at expert level. I loved this game so much I palyed it again after I finished it. These can be skipped but you lose some important narrative information if you do that helps keep you moving in the right direction. I played this one when it first out and never give a review. I don't want to reveal any details, but I really, really, REALLY want to see a sequel to this game, for obvious reasons the authors will understand.
