Three consecutive times, one og after another, in the exact same room doing exactly the same things! Thankfully, we have had a few wonderful games to start off and those will be the ones I play. Also, Mdmories voice-overs and the soundtracks are excellent. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories is more redeemable when it comes to its gameplay. I have given this game 3 stars for the sole purpose of keeping the series alive so that they can create a game with a storyline as amazing as I know it can be, you have the resources and the talent, I know it's in there guy, find your Phantasmat! I think some of the twists in these scenes are quite entertaining and help elevate them above the standards. Date published: That being said, the best parts of the Mystery Case Files: Moths to a Flame are the HOS and the Puzzles. The original Phantasmat won a slew of awards wbtw was by a different dev and I urge this dev to take a break and play the original game and then go back to the drawing board and create a Phantasmal Phantasmat worthy of its namesake. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories only complaint with the HOS is that some of the items are very Double Clue: Solitaire Stories and blend into the background making them almost invisible. If you love seeing tree monsters, cobwebs, spiders, and an old house in shambles then you Memorkes most likely love this game. For me the game is a definite pass and another that is going Sparkle 2 my list of non-purchased games. Not again! It's hard to tell where one object ends and the next begins because there's no definition, it's clearly in an attempt Hero of the Kingdom make them more challenging, but that is NOT how a Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories Object Scene should be!

The scenes are colorless shades of copper or blue and hazy. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories tries to incorporate the thriller and horror elements within its storyline. As always, please try the demo because Phantasmat Remains of Buried Memories might be perfect for you. Not again! Of course with a Phantasmat game I expect dark and dull graphics so the graphics in Remains of Buried Memories live up to my expectations and that is not a good thing because I hate dusty and decrepit old houses or hotels. How very imaginative. The graphics are horrible, dull, lifeless, unappealing. Happy gaming! Can you survive this latest haunted house thriller from Eipix? The worse thing about this game is that there are only 3 areas of activity per detailess scene, a zoom zone on the left, one on the right and one smack dab in the center. I can't even say it's a step backward because they had better graphics originally. Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game.

I always like the graphics that this series provides. The puzzles are more innovative and many of them are unexpectedly complex and challenging. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Tflo from Enjoyed it It's funny to me that previous posters think they know what Sparkle Unleashed is supposed to be about. I found it just challenging enough to be entertaining. The scenes are colorless shades of copper or blue and hazy.

The graphics are horrible, dull, lifeless, unappealing. Items should be cleverly blended into the scenery and, not unrecognizable because of poor graphics! Honestly, when will BFG or developers realize when enough is enough. The jump scares are not scary and the monsters come off as campy rather than scary. There is plenty of hidden object scenes in this game, which might satisfy some players. The exception being that the original Phantasmat was incredible and one I still play today because, IMHO, that was a game that was hard to beat. The visuals are stunning, the artwork its detailed, and the animations are impressive. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories tries to incorporate the thriller and horror elements within its storyline. Thus, while the sights and sounds are amazing when separated from the game, I am uncertain how they fit within the game. The story line was common but again, so what? Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game. Date published: The puzzles are more innovative and many of them are unexpectedly complex and challenging. Well, this new sequel certainly does not achieve any of that. There were very few puzzles offered here that were actually fun to solve, unfortunately.

Not again! The journey to stop it is what the game is all about. I don't mind mind-boggling as long as they aren't frustrating, in fact, I prefer games that require strategy or at least make you think about what you are doing rather than just solving them by memory because you have encountered that puzzle a million times before. In the end there is nothing about this Phantasmat that makes it stand out from all of the previous games in the series. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories has a runtime of around four hours, and the bonus chapter adds another 50 minutes to the total length. The CE "Hidden Signs" are large and easy to spot. The jump scares are not scary and the monsters come off as campy rather than scary. As always, please try the demo because Phantasmat Remains of Buried Memories might be perfect for you. Honestly, when will BFG or developers realize when enough is enough. Overall, I enjoyed it! I found it just challenging enough to be entertaining. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories is well-made, but has a serious identity crisis — something that needs to be addressed before the next installment. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Tflo from Enjoyed it It's funny to me that previous posters think they know what Phantasmat is supposed to be about. Despite the adventure portion of the game being relatively formulaic, Eipix aims high with the hidden object scenes and the puzzles. It's about whatever the developer chooses!

Again, the main issue with Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories is the confusing theme of the game. I think some of the twists in these scenes are quite entertaining and help elevate them above the standards. The worse thing about this game is that there are only 3 areas of activity per detailess scene, a zoom zone on the left, one on the right and one smack dab in the center. I don't mind mind-boggling as long as they aren't frustrating, in fact, I prefer games that require strategy or at least make you think about what you are doing rather than just solving them by memory because you have encountered that puzzle a million times before. There's no detail to even look at, everything is drab, colorless and boring, no need to pause and take in the beauty of the scenery because there's nothing to look at! This Phantasmat is unique to the previous games in the series so that has caught some players off guard, but give it a chance as I think that this game has great merit. In this game they have red eyes. There were very few puzzles offered here that were actually fun to solve, unfortunately. The suspenseful music and sound effects, and voiceovers truly set the scene for a spooky good time thriller. In the end there is nothing about this Phantasmat that makes it stand out from all of the previous games in the series. Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game. Can you survive this latest haunted house thriller from Eipix? Thankfully, we have had a few wonderful games to start off and those will be the ones I play. Wow, what an inventive way to add to the length of a game. Despite the adventure portion of the game being relatively formulaic, Eipix aims high with the hidden object scenes and the puzzles.

  3. You don't know how you really got there in the first place, and why everyone you meet is behaving erratically.
