History has been one of my passions so when I see a game based on historical events it is sure to be a keeper for me. Can you recover the Hourglass of Time before the spirits enact their revenge on all of humanity? Even though this is a game I will buy, please try the demo to see if it is one you will enjoy. Can you find Eleanor and escape the manor alive? I loved the HOPs. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible and the graphics are superb. With excellent graphics, sound, and interesting characters Secrets of Great Queens becomes the complete package for me. I enjoyed the variety in the HOPS and even those that were not my favorite list style were still very good. The characters movements and voiceovers are flawless, the objects are credible for the time period, the music does exactly what it's supposed to do, immerse you into the game without being aware that it's doing so! Track down the clues and discover the truth for yourself in this clever hidden-object adventure game! I chose to play the CE version for all the extras and the bonus chapter but if that doesn't appeal to you then go with this SE version. Find out in this exhilarating hidden-object puzzle adventure! On the visual side, Secrets of Great Queens: Regicide may look a bit out-dated. There are surprises in this storyline and that does not happen often. Sequence puzzle. I have all of the games in this series. Why only 4 Stars you may ask? Can you find Eleanor and escape the manor alive? Head the investigation team and help the Argonauts crack the case of the missing Golden Fleece! The detail in this game is just fabulous and flawless, so realistic. Time Management Read More Nov 22nd, The King of France is Dead! Quite a bit of fun in playing it. We HOPA fans tend to ignore the details, but I tend to stop to smell the roses lately, and Vendel Games has obviously put a great deal of effort into this game. The storyline is not totally unique and the dialogues are sometimes odd, but the murder cases are interesting enough to keep the player intrigued. There are some different spins on puzzles you know. Even though this is a game I will buy, please try the demo to see if it is one you will enjoy.

  1. Using arrows, rotate and move three outside circles so that a pattern is formed in the middle circle. Now, the mist has returned and another camper has been taken. When the epidemic began, no one had any idea just what the citizens of New York were facing. That's a really nice twist to give you a little something extra. Can you recover the Hourglass of Time before the spirits enact their revenge on all of humanity?

  2. Bravo, Vendel! It's really hard to stop playing this game, totally addictive! As your physical world is turned upside down, can you uncover the spirit's origins and save your sister in time?

  3. I loved the HOPs. Can you discover the real truth behind the assassination of King Henry? Vendel Games went outside their comfort zone and added various creative twists to these scenes; they are not just some random junk-piles, but actually fit right into the story.

  4. We HOPA fans tend to ignore the details, but I tend to stop to smell the roses lately, and Vendel Games has obviously put a great deal of effort into this game. Interesting twist in the stories and challenging puzzles. My review is based upon completed play of the game.

LOVE your graphics. Ready for some medieval ambiance, lots of HOPs, and some great creativity? Quite a bit of fun in playing it.

For many, this might just be another same ole, same ole HOPA game but since I love a great historical game based mostly on true events my criteria might be a bit different. Had 18 hops. Ravaillac lest modern sensibilities be shocked; suffice it to say it was unpleasant. Regicide tells a similar tale, but sets in a different part of Europe.

  7. Can you solve the mystery and save them before they meet the same grisly fate as your father? The graphics are solid and the sharpness quality is impressive. The game is based on true events for the most part and is quite interesting.

  8. Aside from the banquet of HOs, I enjoyed the story and the artwork, too. The realistic portrayal of the characters is noteworthy. You were only a child when a red mist appeared in the woods and your father was murdered. The detail in this game is just fabulous and flawless, so realistic. I mean that seriously, and not in a sarcastic or snarky way; it's my cue that this is a game I will enjoy immensely, so I'm grateful when reviewers mention it.

  9. They are all excellent. There are collectibles and morphs, and for every 5 morphs you collect, you unlock a puzzle! You know the Walkers from the Travel Mosaic series.
