Many years ago, the prince of Griffinvale fell in love with a poor girl and - against his father's wishes - married her. The king, unable to reconcile himself with the hopeless union, sent his son on a crusade and, in his absence, drove his young wife out of the castle. The king had counted on the fact that the prince would eventually forget about her, but his plans were ruined when his heir died in battle, and the prince's beloved wife gave birth to a child and died in confinement. After the death of his son, the king sank into mourning, and the future of the royal line was thrown into uncertainty. The royal court was overrun with ambitions and conspiracies, from which a group of people loyal to the fallen prince decided to hide his descendant. As the royal knight Edmund Ulmer, try to find the missing heir and help him regain his crown and retake the throne of Griffinvale!

This collectible however 'The king's symbol' will glow next to the hint button whenever you go to the scene and the 'collectible' is there for you to pick. Get them all and you get an achievement. The first thing I loved about this game is the art. The player's beloved brother turns out to be the rightful heir to a kingdom beset by usurpers, who frame the two for the murder of the King. Randall was captured for various of reasons and has a hidden secret which Edmund will find out later as he is trying to sneak around in the town, and hide from the guards eyes. It had a really good story line, interesting graphics, unique puzzles, and was challenging but not frustrating. Colours are muted with lots of greys and greens no garish blues or purples. There is a total of 29 of them in the main chapter and 11 in the bonus chapter. There is no way you can check the past events or the scattered papers and clues you'll find around, all what you have is an objective 'tasks' journal. Didn't even play the bonus story. I love Island Tribe 5 about this game I've waited a long time for Artifex Mundi to step up their game, and Kingmaker didn't disappoint! I love the fact that you're not actually playing Santas Christmas Solitaire the long-lost royal heir but as someone who loves him and wants to help him. Artifex Mundi has some very talented individuals creating games for us, and a big thank you to Gamehouse for this one in particular. There are also extra tasks like petting all animals and feeding them. What I dislike is the lack of journals entries because I like reading the story notes. In a nutshell, this game is evertything I expect and more from Artifex Mundi. That's an understatement. It had Jewel Legends: Atlantis really good story line, interesting graphics, unique puzzles, and was challenging but not frustrating. In all honesty I could have played 5 more. As of this writing, I'm nowhere near finished with this game, but I already think it's one of the best games I've ever played from Big Fish. The plot is necessarily fairy-tale but has a couple of neat twists. This game ranks tops in every department. After the death of his son, the king sank into mourning, and the future of the royal line was thrown into uncertainty. I played the demo for about 10 minutes and I had to get it! The royal court was overrun with ambitions and conspiracies, from which a group of people loyal to the fallen prince decided to hide his descendant.

  6. I also enjoyed the addition of the game providing us with a fast traveling map, although there isn't a lot of a backtracking, I still like the ability of jumping from an area to another.   9. I personally hate puzzles, but the ones in this game are manageable and are actually fun to figure out. Puzzles were nice and easy to solve, however there is this 'fight puzzle' which requires you to connect the dots without crossing the same line twice, those are repetitive but some of them are quite difficult to solve without trying a couple of times. I played the demo for about 10 minutes and I had to get it! This game definitely comes recommend and so worth putting in your collection.
