Chimeras: Heavenfall Secrets Collectors Edition

Elephant Games presents a magical tale in their popular series Chimeras! Astrid and Greta are the best of friends, but when Greta doesn’t report in for her semester break at their school of magic, everyone knows something's wrong. As you begin digging deeper, you'll discover the hallowed halls of Heavenfall hold many secrets. And someone will do anything to keep you from finding the truth, guarding the mysteries laid dormant in Heavenfall's darkest corners for years. Can you bring the truth to light, and help find Greta? Find out in this enchanting hidden-object puzzle adventure game!

I did like the variation of collectibles. One or two of the multi-level puzzles took some time to solve as they increased in difficulty once you hit the third level - I think I must have spent almost a half hour on one of the door puzzles alone. The graphics were gorgeous, crisp and full of color — something I happen to appreciate in the games I play. It is a scene in which the player must switch between four 4 pictures to locate items. First, I found the pace very slow. No illogical and badly designed minigames no pure guesswork, trial'n'error crap , but well designed minigames, which were logical, and not to easy, but neither to hard. Increases in difficulty C. I had to use the dreaded hint button several times to make it through one of the early HOS in the game. I don't see that we can switch to something else if we don't care for the HOPs. Even at that, I like this one well enough to buy it and add it to my ever growing collection. The graphics were good and atmospheric, and suited perfectly to the gameplay. I found only one which I felt was somewhat creatively designed. The story line is okay. This time she and her friend Greta are concern that at their magic boarding school, students are missing.

The graphics were gorgeous, crisp and full of color — something I happen to appreciate in the games I play. There seemed to be an awful lot more HOPs in this addition than in previous games in the series. All in all Jewel Quest: Seven Seas have found the game entertaining and quite interesting as I worked with Astrid to rescue her friend Greta. Many were thought provoking which is good. It appears her classmate, Greta has disappeared. Most are lists of items with minimal interactivity. Assembly puzzle. I liked the hops and the unique creatures you ran into. Loved the bonus story how it added to the main story. The hidden object scenes Chimeras: Heavenfall Secrets Collectors Edition toward the easy side and did not offer anything innovative. We had a combination of challenging and simple puzzles, but nothing really new. The storyline was cute and entertaining. I think most players will like this one for one reason or another. Music was rather soothing.

Increases in difficulty C. I found the scenes nondescript with little creativity. The secret room has 13 replayable hops and 13 mini-games. The HOPs were definitely on the easier end of things, as were most of the skill games. For a story a missing child and the dark world, the utter lack of suspense is both surprising and alarming. The only challenge was in a few of the puzzles. Still, for the most part, they are well done. It is a scene in which the player must switch between four 4 pictures to locate items. Hint system is quite helpful and it does transport to longer locations. On the other hand the high-pitched voices, primarily of Astrid and Greta were not quite so good, which is generally the case when an adult script reader tries to emulate the voice of a child. That being said, the original game in the series Tune of Revenge to this day remains one of my favorite all time games. Very little character interaction during the demo. There are twelve 12 wallpapers along with concept art and music selections. No illogical and badly designed minigames no pure guesswork, trial'n'error crap , but well designed minigames, which were logical, and not to easy, but neither to hard. I always enjoy a game where the HOS are done in the original list style that is used most frequently in this game, although there was some variety thrown into the mix.

Only three chapters plus a bonus chapter. Connect tokens with lines Virtual Families them so that the number of lines radiating from them equals the number on the token. I liked Terrafarmers hops and the unique creatures you ran into. As for the puzzles, some of them are actually fairly difficult to solve, although they are more of the unnecessarily complex types than the entertaining types. Maze puzzle. But not so good! Most are lists of items with minimal interactivity. Chimeras: Heavenfall Secrets is one incohesive and unbearably dull fantasy adventure. The Puzzles or mini-games are really excellent, and included many of my favorites. Okay, I Clayside to admit it but I never followed Harry Potter since my children were out of the nest when Harry rose to fame so I can play this game without comparison to that well-known series. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. The HOPs were definitely on the easier end of things, as were most of the skill games. Has Greta stumbled down the path to the dark world and can you rescue her for Astrid?

Chimeras: Heavenfall Secrets Collector's Edition

Collect forty-eight 48 puzzle pieces for four jigsaw puzzles. This is a nice game to play. I had to use the dreaded hint button several times to make it through one of the early HOS in the game. Happy gaming! Yes, I have all of the others. We didn't have a lot animation in this one, but what we had was well done. The only challenge was in a few of the puzzles. However, the game still manages to disappoint me. We have interactive lists and silhouettes. There are twenty-two 22 achievements. There are also two silhouette scenes. I don't see that we can switch to something else if we don't care for the HOPs. A secret room within the school contains a painting which transports those who approach it to an ominous, dangerous place - the Dark World. When Astrid is absorbed into the painting as well, you, Detective must venture into this dangerous world to save both girls. The school apparently also holds an ominous painting that serves as a passage to the dark world.

Collect twenty-seven 27 morphing musical instruments and 12 cards as well. I disliked most of the puzzles and all of them in the bonus chapter. Still, for the most part, they are well done. This game was fairly quiet, except for the constant music. It seemed that the graphics are better on this one. There are also two silhouette scenes. There seemed to be an awful lot more HOPs in this addition than in previous games in the series. There are twenty-two 22 achievements. I found the scenes nondescript with little creativity. The puzzles I liked. I liked the game but the gameplay and not many relaxed puzzles put it into just ok for me. If you enjoy cute, happy ending, casual gameplay.

  1. On the other hand the high-pitched voices, primarily of Astrid and Greta were not quite so good, which is generally the case when an adult script reader tries to emulate the voice of a child. Someone please add Chimeras to the growing list of HOPA series that should have ended a long time ago. There is a jump map, but again, it is very bland and boring.

  2. The graphics were good and atmospheric, and suited perfectly to the gameplay. I liked collecting the 27 morphing musical instruments, 48 pieces to make 4 jigsaw that can be used for screensavers and 12 collectible cards. The HOS scenes were good and not quite too easy. On the other hand the high-pitched voices, primarily of Astrid and Greta were not quite so good, which is generally the case when an adult script reader tries to emulate the voice of a child. It had too much placing things and not enough relaxed puzzles.

  3. We do a lot of back tracking in this game, and jump all over the place. Very little character interaction during the demo. The HOS scenes were good and not quite too easy. This is a game full of potions, spells, wizards and portals to other worlds.

  4. So what did I like or not like in the game? There are twenty-two 22 achievements. One or two of the multi-level puzzles took some time to solve as they increased in difficulty once you hit the third level - I think I must have spent almost a half hour on one of the door puzzles alone. As for the puzzles, some of them are actually fairly difficult to solve, although they are more of the unnecessarily complex types than the entertaining types.

  5. There is too much space taken up when it could be smaller. I really do not like their set up for the inventory and for the hint button, map, etc. There isn't much in the way of sound FX, except an occasional meow from a cat you can't see. Using arrows, move a gold cross to push gold tokens on a path to their designated slots. The Puzzles or mini-games are really excellent, and included many of my favorites.

  6. I liked the game but the gameplay and not many relaxed puzzles put it into just ok for me. The story line is okay. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by winterstorms from another chimeras hit I have loved the chimeras series and this one is no different. The HOS scenes were good and not quite too easy.
