The realm was once home to an ancient civilization, which has long since disappeared, leaving behind relics of unknown power. The graphics were not up to par and the music is annoying. The other way to play is the standard mosaic, which I have to admit I haven't played. This color confusion led to some mistakes which made the playing a little frustrating. A 25X25 grid has itty bitty little squares -- pretty frustrating. But play the demo and judge for yourself. So if the number in the center is 9, then all are filled, easy enough. I find most nanograms to be too simplistic for my taste and they are often poorly designed. The final pictures resulting from completion of the puzzle are realistic looking. So for me this game is a must have. For me personally, this game didn't impress me enough to want to buy it, therefor it doesn't constitute a 5 star rating. The storyline was ok, as was the music and sound fx. Overall, a wonderful game for all ability levels.

The graphics are hand drawn, but basic, and there are only 3 colors available, at least within the demo, perhaps more colors are added as you progress. I want to keep playing!!!! Though I like that series, too! For me personally, this game didn't impress me enough to want to buy it, therefor it doesn't constitute a 5 star rating. A real thumbs down game. When I saw who the developer was I couldn't wait to start put I should have because you have to go through the lame tutorial or you can't advance. You will earn points for each grid solved, the more stars you earn, the more points you'll earn. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to new time management games for us Mac users. I do wish to clarify a comment made by a fellow reviewer who likens grid games to Sudoku as griddlers are nothing at all like Sudoku. If it had asked me for a new name after I mistakenly said yes, maybe I wouldn't have goofed. The game is Good, But The grids in this game will vary in size. I highly recommend this game if you like Sudoku games or any type of mathematical puzzle.

While I find the Fantasy Mosaics series the best of the genre, the end play of completing the penguin diorama does nothing for me as the grids themselves are all I need to satisfy. Plus, if I'd had to enter a new name, it would have saved the old game even if I started over! This developer has set the foundation for this game by constructing beautifully designed puzzles.

Except for those players who are totally new to this style of game I Mystery Mosaics go into detail as to how they are solved. I'll be honest, I only play the Fill-A-Pix I think it's called in which you fill in a picture by coloring in the number of filled in boxes Mystery Mosaics are supposed to be in a 3x3 grid. If you Mystery Mosaics standard grid puzzles, then you will enjoy this game but there is no "wow" factor to playing it. The storyline was ok, as was the music and sound fx. What's strange Nocturnal: Boston Nightfall that the backgrounds and village illustrations Sparkle Unleashed the complete opposite: bright, sunny, fantasy colored castles and skies. Kudos to the Developers on a fantastic game, job well done!! Except for those players who are totally new to this style of game I won't go into detail as to how they are solved. After being challenged by Fill-A-Pix, which I have never come across in any other game, the standard mosaic lost it's magic for me. It's difficult to explain, so I recommend trying it in the demo. The grids were very easy to solve at the beginning and did not get too much harder during the demo. I love these types. Merry Christmas! There is no "Are you sure, all progress will be lost" warning, it just starts over immediately with the very Mystery Mosaics puzzle. Extras include a hand to fill Mystery Mosaics squares and a hammer to fill in empty squares. However, if you enjoy logic puzzles, want to twist your brain a bit and try something new, I highly recommend this game. Stars are Column of the Maya as to number of errors you make in completing the puzzle. I find most nanograms to Mysteryy too simplistic for my taste and they are often poorly designed. The grids were very easy to solve at the beginning and did not get too much harder during the demo. But play the demo and judge for yourself.

  3. There are 10 levels with 10 puzzles each and they get progressively harder. Two ways to play, so much fun and makes you think. While there were options to playing, it didn't offer the fun factor of others, and I found myself getting bored halfway through the hour trial. I goofed.

I'm not even waiting for Bonus Punch Monday, I'm off to purchase it Starts off as if everyone is a child rather than getting right into the game with minimum instruction. While I agree with much of what's already been said, for me there was a major drawback to this game.

  9. Quite the improvement over the first Mystery Mosaics in my opinion In this puzzle, create pictures by filling in squares in a grid. Though I like that series, too! If this doesn't bother you, then you'll likely enjoy this game, especially with a free game code or on sale! Really depressing to my eyes.

  10. Grab your hard hats and put your brains in gear in this excellent 5-star nonogram game. What's new is you build the buildings. I LOVE these games and this developer has produced a good one. Overall, a wonderful game for all ability levels.

  11. What a cool and innovative idea! Sadly I don't see another of this sort. The game is Good. I don't review games often, but I felt I had to review this game since I feel it has gotten an undeserved low rating.

  12. At the beginning of game play, I was easily I had two issues: the colors used were often too similar. It's one of the very few games I replayed and I checked every so often if there was a new one out.
