If enough people don't buy it, there won't be any incentive Build-in-Time the developer to hone the character or future story lines and we be stuck with more of the demons, critters, and paperclips. Buy it on a BOGO or with a coupon is my recommendation. Holmes is Rainforest Solitaire a well-crafted game, since it definitely is coming from an experienced developer like Elephant Games. The scenes are dark and I had trouble seeing things. The only thing I didn't care for in this Tne was the voice overs. The next 2 chapters have a plot that's been done off thousand times before, a complete letdown, there's not even a "clue searching" feature scenario that you'd expect from someone who self-righteously claims to be equal to the late, great Sherlock Holmes. Unfortunately, all my excited anticipations wan as I muddle my way through the first chapter Baslervilles the storyline is boring and Mother Nature at a snail's pace, not to mention the fact that Elephant games have so many cliche tasks and a billion emblems to place on just about everything. When it comes to the visuals, Ms.

Better luck next time, Ms. In 22 minutes there was no interaction with any other character beyond reading newspaper clippings, and the not-very-frightening monster who just went away after I hid in a shed. The instructions were just not clear for me. Was that the sole purpose of bricking up the wall, so that someone could replace the emblems to make it crumble?? Graphics were very well done along with the colors in the scenes. Sorry Elephant. The hops are ok. It only has 3 chapters. While it did have some challenges and I don't mean mini games, it wasn't bad at all. Only problem were those blasted windows that pop open. Follow Ms.

While the underlying concept of a female Sherlock Holmes is fascinating, the main heroine lacks a distinct personality that would have helped differentiate Basjervilles game from other detective HOPA titles. Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles is rated 3. Don't get too excited about this "family curse" scenario because it only lasts one chapter before the plot jumps from point A to point Z Fishdom - Spooky Splash has nothing to do with the plot, and basically isn't even mentioned in the following 2 final chapters???? Try the demo for yourself. We join Ms. It only has 3 chapters. Better luck next time, Ms. Sure, it's Monstsr a true Sherlock Holmes story, but there is enough deduction to make it interesting. Thus, it is unfortunate when an attempt at something new does not quite click, like with this one. Although the graphics look nice and polished, not a single scene is instantly memorable. Should not have wasted my money nor should you. Only problem were those blasted windows that Baskervillez open. What I really like is that there are no cute, little critters helping me along. I did Ms. Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles lost a time or two, but by the end I was caught up in it. Or maybe it's really because there was nothing Baaskervilles make me care about finding the missing characters or solving possible crimes.

Music was okay and kind of light and not intrusive. However, playing the game also feels like rewatching an old movie that we had already watched multiple times before that we know every beat, every rhythm by heart. Zero seconds would be better. When it comes to the visuals, Ms. What I really like is that there are no cute, little critters helping me along. We're not trying to save a relative or lover from a demon who wants to steal their souls. Try the demo for yourself. And there's no demon who has been inadvertently awakened from the past determined to rule the world. This time it didn't recognize my progress, the hint feature didn't point to anything and when I opened up the final mini-game that I had already finished, the game could be completed again but there were no instructions this time and no skip feature. Sorry Elephant. We have the standard missing gnome and missing zipper pull, items guarded by angry bees, ants marching single file across random items, glass that needs to be cut precisely with a 5-carat diamond that someone managed to lose and I ditch it afterward? It only has 3 chapters. The instructions were just not clear for me. I only liked one puzzle and the skip takes too long at 15 sec.

Oohhh, a new series game available, how exciting. Effects went along with the action. Ms Holmes was obviously pushing her parts. So far, I haven't even had to use a paperclip to fix a broken zipper The next 2 chapters have a plot that's been done a thousand times before, a complete letdown, there's not even a "clue searching" feature scenario that you'd expect from someone who self-righteously claims to be equal to the late, great Sherlock Holmes. Graphics are good, voiceovers are fun, I just think that it was too short. Naturally, every box, fountain, fireplace, door, and drawer needs an Emblem and for some odd reason, whenever I replace the emblems on a wall, the entire section of bricks caves in, revealing a hidden cache.

This time it didn't recognize my progress, the hint feature didn't point to anything and when I opened up the final mini-game that I had already finished, the game could be completed again but there were no instructions this time and no skip feature. I completed the final puzzle in the main chapter but during the final cutscene after the mini-game, it shut down again. I did and that persuaded me to make the purchase. Thus, it is unfortunate when an attempt at something new does not quite click, like with this one. Should not have wasted my money nor should you. It only has 3 chapters. This new series, and I hope it is a series, has great potential. I was hoping to find a pure mystery game without any of the elements of fantasy other than the monster who I'm guessing will turn out to be no real monster we've had to suffer in so many recent games. Holmes: the monster of baskerville collectors additon Was not challenging, was boring and too short. They have Sherlock Holmes statues and pictures every time you turn around.

  1. It only has 3 chapters. I completed the final puzzle in the main chapter but during the final cutscene after the mini-game, it shut down again. My favorite sentence from Ms. I don't like them to begin with, but when I work to get them done just to find out I was doing them wrong is so frustrating.

  4. Sherlock Holmes, the Monster is completely dismissed, there's no who-dun-it sleuthing involved, there are no "brilliant deductions" made, there's just nothing about this new series that has anything special. I liked that there were for me some new mini-puzzles. I don't like them to begin with, but when I work to get them done just to find out I was doing them wrong is so frustrating. Better luck next time, Ms.

  5. This issue does not only concern the storyline but the gameplay as well. I think if this series continues Elephant Games will improve on that. I completed the final puzzle in the main chapter but during the final cutscene after the mini-game, it shut down again. Give this game a chance. Loved playing this game!

  9. I kept thinking maybe I'm finding this boring because I don't feel well, or maybe it's the dark, dreary coloring of the scenes, or maybe it's doing all the same things I've had to do in too many other games like pick locks, find shaped keys, get rid of ants, use a magnet to retrieve something out of reach, and so on and so forth. This series has a bright future when they get all the kinks worked out. The hops are ok. The Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter may or may not be more entertaining than the main game, I wouldn't know because the game froze up once in the first chapter, a second time in the second chapter, and in the third chapter it completely shut down twice. I completed the puzzle a second time but it doesn't do anything, therefore I can't access the Bonus Chapter because the game thinks I didn't complete the main game.

I guess I'm a majority of one who liked playing this new game. It washed out the picture but at least you could see it.
