Darkarta: A Broken Hearts Quest

Like all moms, for Mary her Sophia was the apple of her eye and her heart. Haunted by strange curses from her orphanage days, Mary never knew the story of her dark past until the day she received that strange, mysterious letter. Never in her wildest dreams did she fear that fate would wipe away the peaceful serenity of her life. The sweetest songs are those that tell of broken hearts.

At last, a game from a first time developer Tuttifrutti can't wait for more that offered me everything that I could want in a game. There are Interactive List Finds if you hover the cursor over the word it will show you the items Silhouetted Shape My favorites were the Interactive Progressive Silhouetted Shape Finds, they were highly interactive with lots of puzzles and clues. To put it simply, the visuals are out-of-this-world. To make the object appear, it requires an action to trigger its appearance in a different scene, and for me, that brings a whole new level of entertainment to a game! The hidden objects are varied and the puzzles interesting. In the Casual mode, the screen sparkles in areas of interest too. The music was great. So, do you get the CE or SE? Not only that, but the soundtracks are also nothing short of breathtaking. Beautiful graphics, a pretty good story, interesting HO scenes and minigames, a jump map, that, at least in the easiest level which I always play shows tasks yet to be completed. Darkarta effectively uses the soundtracks to build up and maintain suspense throughout the game. The HOPS really had me thinking as they were more like puzzles. The artwork is beautiful. They are really well-done features and not always easy to spot, so I strongly recommend the CE version.

This Heatts is just the right difficulty for me. I prefer the CE, but if you don't care about Morphing Objects as the above reviewer notedthe SE would probably suit you fine. Mad Mouse is an alternate Match 3 game if you aren't thrilled about the HOP's. Really like the hogs and mini games. The Indian theme is a Mahjongg: Ancient Mayas change from European and Western countries as the backdrop. I played this game from another game site sometime last year, so yeah, this was a long Darkartaa: coming here. Give it a try. I loved how interactive each HOP was, and found the Heatrs within to be really fun. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Calopsitta from Finally a really good and different one in the genre! Sound is good and the music is orchestral and quite haunting. Date published: On the next screen you find a bunch of bananas. This game has pretty much everything!

There is an alternate Match 3 game if you aren't thrilled about the HOP's. You get the idea. This was definitely not an easy breezy game and its about time. It's no secret that I'm not a huge HOS fan because nowadays the devs simply aren't creative with them. Its different and unusual. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by shelterhill from Lovely game I'm playing the CE at the moment and loving it, but I think the SE will do as well, although the morphing objects are very nicely done, but if you don't care for them this edition is a good choice!! During a full moon, Darkarta the immortal rises once again to search for the One with a pure soul, an innocent heart he so desperately needs to complete his never-ending Quest. Darkarta is refreshing in that it draws heavily on Indian culture and mythology, giving it a mood and energy that will be novel to many western gamers. Really like the hogs and mini games. The artwork is beautiful. There is a journal which further explains the narrative plot and the protagonist's thoughts in her quest. You will feel like you actually get your money's worth out of this game, and if you've had the privilege of speaking with this dev, I'm sure you'll understand why this game is so incredible, because they poured their heart and soul into this game, and I'd be very disappointed if Felix didn't make arrangements for the next installation of Darkarta! Sound is good and the music is orchestral and quite haunting. Can a mortal defeat that which is immortal?

I liked everything about this game. The Master Farm Life Dark Arts has deceived you and your family, and your daughter Sophia is now in grave danger. The memories are Sophia's toys, etc which are easier to spot. Anyways, Darkarta is a Darkartaa:, beautiful and challenging game. The hidden objects Mother Nature varied and the puzzles interesting. And so much can be customized that I'd be surprised if someone couldn't get the exact level of challenge that they want. Otherwise, both versions are phenomenal, the storyline is really intriguing, the graphics are wicked good, the Mini-Games are excellent and believe it or Broien, I even loved the Hidden Object Scenes, which is something a rarely say nowadays.

The mini-games are mainly straightforward, silhouette and putting items back. Happy playing fishies - most definitely recommended. Even on the easiest level you still have to think. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by tigerlily from excellent game I really like this game. Otherwise, both versions are phenomenal, the storyline is really intriguing, the graphics are wicked good, the Mini-Games are excellent and believe it or not, I even loved the Hidden Object Scenes, which is something a rarely say nowadays. I vote for game of the year. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and quite haunting. To be sure you are left with a good feeling after playing this game, I recommend you buy the collector's edition. This extends beyond the characters, too. The quality of the graphics is through the roof, the special effects are impressive, and the contrast between gloomy and fluorescent colors are absolutely perfect for a moody fantasy game like this. They are really well-done features and not always easy to spot, so I strongly recommend the CE version. Even collectibles and morphing objects are interesting enough to make this CE a buy for me. But for all its novelty and child-abduction-themed high drama, Darkarta is a very accessible puzzler that presents a pleasant rather than bracing challenge. Extras include a comic book summarizing the main chapter, but it stops where the bonus chapter begins, but still a nice extra.

At last, a game from a first time developer Tuttifrutti can't wait for more that offered me everything that I could want in a game. The morphs change from a snake to an eagle and morph quite slowly - around every 10 seconds I think. Throughout the main game there are 30 memories and 28 morphs to find. 1. The mini-games are mainly straightforward, silhouette and putting items back. The game is really long which took me most of the week playing in the evenings. There are games in there for everyone - from puzzles to memory games, etc. On the next screen you find a bunch of bananas.

  2. This game is just the right difficulty for me. The Indian theme is a refreshing change from European and Western countries as the backdrop. Different and unusual for a change.

  3. I am now a loyal fan and look forward to many more stories to come. The developer is TuttiFrutti and this is their first game, I believe. This is the first time ever that I had a tear in my eye. Darkarta has a length of just a little over five hours and I chose the custom setting. Give it a go and support this new developer!

  4. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and quite haunting. The game moves smoothly and there are many challenges along the way. There are tons of "extras" -- morphing objects, memory objects, achievements. But in between these conventionally gamery puzzles are some more casual challenges.

  5. The HOPS really had me thinking as they were more like puzzles. You will find scattered toys from your daughter, and it is not always obvious that you have to collect them. It's good, it's great and I loved it. Its different and unusual. Even on the easiest level you still have to think.

  6. You do the math. I was surprised at the pictures on the top right of the game page. Overall a terrific game and so worth buying. The HOPS really had me thinking as they were more like puzzles. HOPs have good variety.
