The way you go about solving these mysteries is the same as in every other HOPA out there, which means that the veterans of the genre should be able to find their way around the puzzles and the interface in no time at all. I found that I enjoyed the game right from the time that Clutch landed in my yard. Such fun, these little extra surprises, and one of my favorite parts of this game. On the music side, the melodic soundtracks give the game the appropriate enchanting vibe, while the voice-overs are pleasant and easy-to-follow. I skipped quite a few, as even on easy they were a bit tricky. CE or SE? However this is a well crafted and charming story with a real Christmas feel and a well balanced progression that makes you want to turn the page. The ending is abrupt and could have been better in my opinion. I always have found them distracting or awkward. May everyone have a Blessed Christmas. So yes this is a satisfying Old School type game that feels and plays like the glory days of a few years ago. Definitely the CE is the way to go. What fun! Help her friends as you search for the missing messenger, find out why Mombi is angry and why the goblins are on the march to take all the Christmas things. The story starts with the main characters preparing for Christmas, and you are invited to join them for a party. There's so many mini games to play that are favorites of mine. The bonus chapter for once was a good length and took over an hour to complete with puzzle skips. Hmmm, maybe things would have been better if someone had thought to send her an invitation to the celebration. Thank you Domini Games. CE or SE? Just perfect for the Christmas season! The ending is abrupt and could have been better in my opinion. I really like the new trend in games where WE can choose to have a helper or to play along without one. The storyline with Oz characters is unique for this time of year.

If you prefer the CE version of a game this one includes Emeralds to collect that are hidden in each scene and will be used later in the bonus section. Well, it seems that the recent sale of BFG to Aristocrat Entertainment Royal Envoy already having good results and I am TTrouble this a rare Five Stars because new companies like this need our support. Exactly what I love in a holiday game. The first game I bought was Dec. There is nothing new or spectacular with the gameplay but that is okay with me. Not the The Christmas Spirit: Trouble in Oz can be said about the cut-scenes, unfortunately, mainly because they come in very low resolutions for some reason. The storyline with Oz characters is Bubble Zoo 2 for this time of year.


As I mentioned earlier, I love Christmas games and manage to collect most of them that are released each year. Not enjoyed a game as much for a long while.   2. The only time the helper makes any noise is to bark to let you know he can be used, which is what you would expect the dog to do in the real world. Once again, thank you developers for keeping helpers in the games for those of us who like them. There is really nothing different with the HOPS and puzzles in the game except that they are all related in one way or another to Christmas. Hence, if you want something uplifting to get you hyped for the holidays, this might just do the trick.

  4. Toto is adorable! It was not too hard and not too easy for me. Excellent graphics, and whilst Toto is annoying with the barks and whines when you need to use him, it didn't spoil the game.
