But maybe because it was so short??? I was a bit disappointed in this one. AND got to do it the second time. I know all the Grim Tales stories have this sort of formula but I've played others that have not left me feeling irritated. All of my reviews are based upon completed play of Grim Tales: The Hunger game. I used the custom mode so I wouldn't have to wait for the hint and skip to recharge. Good graphics and smooth flow of game. I don't review every one I play, only those that kept me in the story, and this is one. Further, the hidden object scenes and the puzzles are disappointingly easy and mundane, although they are not terrible either. Of course, apparently there are a few games before this one and this is the first one I'm playing, so that's probably why. Firstly, the story was just Solitaire Jack Frost: Winter Adventures strange to be believable. I have always liked the this story line. Because I pretty much finished the first chapter in the demo, I was able to speed through it when I actually bought it and finished the Grjm game uHnger about an hour. Great graphics and colors. Honestly, I was Mystika: Between Light and Shadow to find most of the items without looking at the list, and there's just no excuse for this!

The puzzles weren't too difficult; only one gave me a bit of trouble and I skipped it. HOPS are easy and not distracting from the story. Aside from a really easy adventure component, we had puzzles literally everywhere. Use your time-traveling ability to go back through the years and stop this cold-blooded killer! But maybe because it was so short??? The visuals in Grim Tales: The Hunger are pleasing to say the least. The sense of urgency is also lacking in The Hunger, making for a forgettable and dull storyline. Play the demo and see if it isn't a game you might enjoy. In other words it is how the story is told. In this series:. If you're reading this, Elephant Games, please go back to the beautiful mansions and countryside cottages that made these games so beautiful to begin with. This one really does have some mystery to it, although it is a familiar story. The story had no major plot twists or turns and just wasn't gripping whatsoever. I saw from the CE that this game would be pretty short, so yeah.

The puzzles were also rather easy, most could be done with no information at all and the HO area were Grim Tales: The Hunger simple. For the most part, the gameplay of Grim Tales: The Hunger is uninspired. The voice overs were very well done and good old Richard is back with his Mahjong Forbidden Temple voice. Others will go into depth about the story, so I'll just say it got me involved from the beginning and kept me until the end. I saw another Grrim say they didn't understand why the ghost popped up in the demo, but once I saw the ghost and remembered the title of the Grom, the whole story became very obvious. It was an enjoyable, if simple, storyline, but at the end, I assume I was supposed to feel happy or feel some emotion, but I didn't. I'd rather get this game Tles: sale than spend full Adelantado Trilogy: Book Two on it. Good graphics Talea: smooth flow of game. Then we get to the gameplay. I know all the Grim Tales stories have this Grim Tales: The Hunger of formula but I've played others that have not left me feeling irritated. Instead of focusing on the juicy family drama that was the center theme for many of the superior Grim Tales games, The Hunger utilizes a derivative murder mystery plot, mixed with uninteresting time-traveling elements. The developer aims to engage the player into the mystery through the evidence tab, but its use is actually very minimal and adds very little suspense to the game. This was beyond frustrating. Unfortunately, the trend seems to persist with this Thhe sequel, The Hunger.

I wasn't successful all the time, but at least they were doable. I'd rather get this game on sale than spend full price on it. Lately, the once-unbeatable Grim Tales series has taken quite a hit in terms of quality. Something that probably gets overlooked, but since I play quite a few HO games, something I appreciate is that when I've used or done everything in a scene or area, it closes up automatically, so I don't waste time going back into them trying to wonder if I finished everything there. Unfortunately, the trend seems to persist with this latest sequel, The Hunger. About the time I got settled into the game and thought the plot was really taking off, I realized I was at Endgame.

I swear, since Big Fish closed it's forums still not sure why that happened because they were very helpful and they got more into mobile games, which I swear will be the death of good, full games, the game quality has gone down. The HOS were great and the best part of the game, spaced out well and quite fun. The storyline was pretty predictable. The storyline is decent, but the game features are way too cookie-cutter, it's clear that they poured all of their energy into Detectives United, and rushed to get this game released. Unfortunately, the trend seems to persist with this latest sequel, The Hunger. It's a hard pass from me. Use your time-traveling ability to go back through the years and stop this cold-blooded killer! I have been waiting for this to come out and was super disappointed. This time it's her niece Jackie, who you may remember she rescued when she was younger. I didn't feel like I got to know the characters enough. Daddy Richard has returned and honestly, he's the best part of this game. I have always liked the this story line. The Bonus Chapter returns with Alexander as the lead character as an excited dad-to-be as Natalya is expecting twins. This one really does have some mystery to it, although it is a familiar story.

  1. They did keep my interest. The bonus section consists of a strategy guide, wallpapers, screensavers, concept art, soundtracks, achievements, collectibles, morphing objects, and archives. I just ended up waiting out the skip button and then another would appear, and another, and another The Bonus Chapter returns with Alexander as the lead character as an excited dad-to-be as Natalya is expecting twins.
