Along the way you'll meet some new friends and even a few familiar faces as well. Or at any rate on me, since I tend to dawdle with the last item, just to prolong the listening. The HOPs and mini games can not be played again; although I think this feature should be standard by now. I haven't written a review for ages as so many CEs of late have been hum drum to say the least. The storyline is cohesive, be sure to play the series. They have no personality and go by the names Bella, Hella and Della. When did you feel the last time the urge to leap up from your chair and to dance to game music? What is Cassandra after, and why did she target your family? The Mini Games were a bit of a disappointment for me because they all seem way to easy with no complexity at all, but they aren't bad puzzles, they're just easy puzzles to solve. You'll find a wide variety of puzzles throughout the game, and Awakening Darkness balances its hidden-object scenes and classic point-and-click adventure-y very well, often weaving more exposition into both. That's my biggest complaint with this or any other game that does that. Her exotic plants have become somewhat intimidating, with big eyes and even bigger teeth, poor mom has been cursed with an aging spell me too!

This composer is not even afraid to play with beats and rhythm. Somebody must have puffed one pipe of truth too many :D Challenge is alas non-existent, mini games are child's play. An neat sequel, prolongs the fun for an hour. Well, not actually boring. But there are 6 new locations to discover, and I even had the impression, that one or two music tracks are exclusively heard in the bonus. Hence, the CE is not quite the best bargain you can get for your money. The minigames are not challenging, they just make you think enough, and are varied and original enough, to give the whole game experience another layer. Cassandra has no use for you, so you too receive the curse that causes your body to rapidly deteriorate until you're merely dust in the wind! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by LogieBaby from Better than most other in this series I have not been much of a fan of the Witches 'Legacy series. The mini games are especially creative and fun. A wicked witch Cassandra has stolen a magical amulet from her sister witches and a young woman has been transported into a fantasy realm while her mother has been aged considerably by Cassandra. Awakening Darkness is weird, though mostly in a good way. I was less impressed by the three witches. Awakening Darkness' sense of humour and twisted whimsy is actually sort of refreshing in a sea of serious, spooky casual adventures, and while that means the more dramatic moments feel a little goofy, it also means it has a feeling of real creativity and style that keep you hooked. The Hidden Object Scenes are quite entertaining, there are several "zoom zone" puzzles, typical in this series where you are tasked with finding six fragments, items, or six symbols needed in the zoom zone, by searching the scene outside of the zoom.

Can't recommend this Lsgacy: highly enough Rated 5 out of 5 by spythere from Good Riddance to the Clumsy Imp This was an instant purchase for me: the first Witches Legacy without the ugly imp! Since Witches Legacy: Awakening Darkness Imp once family dog belongs to Lynn, we get Bertha the ferret once human to help us out during the adventure, and there are several Achievements to earn as well. But there are 6 new locations to discover, and I Darknes had the impression, that one or two music tracks are exclusively heard in the bonus. Good gracious! There's a hopping There is interaction around every corner, not just the usual mini games and it's long enough to be well worth the cost of the game. The plot is a full of strange characters and stranger circumstances as Jack sets off to rescue his sister, and throw the aesthetics and tone of Howl's Moving Castle, Willow, and a bunch of '80s music videos into a blender and you'll come Darknsss to what Hero of the Kingdom feels like to play. The mini games are especially creative and fun. I was less impressed by the three witches. One early puzzle involves discovering a crocodile hatbox is allergic to feathers because It's a sequel, not necessary for a concluding end and actually just another story with the same people involved. That ferret is clearly an upgrade. What's nice is that Fables of the Kingdom II Collectors Edition you do get the token cute animal companion, Bertha's a talker, and it makes a surprisingly Hero of the Kingdom difference to have a character with actual dialogue and a personality as your guide. Occasionally there is a series which stands head and shoulders above most, and Witch's Legacy has become my new Top of the list.

Click detection, however, can be a little fiddly in hidden-object scenes, which, while multi-layered with little puzzles of their own or extra items to find to unlock lists, just aren't as interesting as the rest of the game. Turns out Nikki's body has been commandeered by an ancient witch, who was murdered by her fellow spiteful apprentice, and it's up to Jack, and a transmogrified wannabe witch, to save Nikki and put a stop to things. The devs have done a wonderful job morphing the saga of Lynn Watson into a completely new storyline, without straying too far from the original plot. Download "Full Game" mean that all game features are included with only one restriction — you can play for free only 1 hour, then you must register purchase the game to continue playing. Recently I got disappointed in sequels of other series, but this one is excellent in quality, fun, story line, new inventions in HOP. Most of the puzzles are routine although I did like one where a magical fireball absorbs bad energy as long as the fireball does not pass thru its growing centipede like body. Awakening Darkness' sense of humour and twisted whimsy is actually sort of refreshing in a sea of serious, spooky casual adventures, and while that means the more dramatic moments feel a little goofy, it also means it has a feeling of real creativity and style that keep you hooked. The HOPs and mini games can not be played again; although I think this feature should be standard by now. Jack meets 2 other good witches during the demo. Overall, I found this to be an enjoyable game. Look at him, when he smokes the pipe of truth and rolls his eyes Cassandra has no use for you, so you too receive the curse that causes your body to rapidly deteriorate until you're merely dust in the wind!

Represented Awakennig puppets or silhouettes, they look like spineless fashion mannequins, far too young to know anything. Or we insert four shapes which open the items list, then four compartments with parts for the final object unlock. I don't usually bother with the storyline as many are so droll and like bad B movies of yesteryearbut am enjoying the story. A little mouse eats Hypericum and falls asleep, but only after Heroes from the Past: Joan of Arc yawned quite adorably. Recently I got disappointed in Sparkle Unleashed of Withes series, but this one is excellent in quality, fun, story line, new inventions in HOP.

One is a woman drained of much of her power while a younger lady accompanies Jack on the quest until such time that she is abducted herself within a portal as the demo ends. When did you feel the last time the urge to leap up from your chair and to dance to game music? Had to refer to SG once so far - I'm 4 hours into the game , and managed to move on having done so. I've listed brief descriptions on some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Place gears to form a continuous chain reaction, then select the gears in the correct order lit as demonstrated. There are morphs in each section of the game and also collectible jigsaw pieces which can be assembled into a finished product after all are obtained. Represented by puppets or silhouettes, they look like spineless fashion mannequins, far too young to know anything. Loved looking at all the varying scenes that kept me captivated, and throw in morphing objects, puzzles to work, and a variety of interactive HOS, and I'm hooked! Forget Cassandra - Alexey Arkhipov is the true wizard of this game. But the lucky guy has two capable, female companions: Lynn's daughter Annabel and the bewitched girl Bertha, currently a ferret, help him with the magical bits and parts. Find out in this alluring hidden-object puzzle adventure game! A wicked witch Cassandra has stolen a magical amulet from her sister witches and a young woman has been transported into a fantasy realm while her mother has been aged considerably by Cassandra. I counted 9 HOPs and 9 puzzles; the collecting of collectibles continues. Most of the puzzles are routine although I did like one where a magical fireball absorbs bad energy as long as the fireball does not pass thru its growing centipede like body.

  1. Often the HOPs in adventure HOGs are tiresome, repetitive and even boring in many games, but in this CE they are intuitive, different, fun and for a change I actually look forwards to them. Level of challenge is good, plus there's a jump to map, excellent most of the time hint system, and interesting puzzles. To my surprise, this edition is remarkably good.

  2. One tune gives me at times goosebumps on my eardrums. The game includes some interesting and interactive HO scenes. A bit like a pantomime story of naughty witches.

  3. Occasionally there is a series which stands head and shoulders above most, and Witch's Legacy has become my new Top of the list. If you've been looking for something that doesn't take itself too seriously, then Awakening Darkness is definitely the perfect choice to kick back with. Represented by puppets or silhouettes, they look like spineless fashion mannequins, far too young to know anything.

  5. The storyline is cohesive, be sure to play the series. They added humor long overdue amusing creatures and little treasures when you're you're tapping around for morphs. Some of us write so many reviews that I feel that I have gotten to know at least a bit some of my colleagues in a good although less than personal manner. There is a lot of to-ing and fro-ing to collect items and use them so the map, which shows where actions are available and transports you there, is a must for me; it means I can play really relaxed and just enjoy the artwork and the unfolding story.

  6. They have no personality and go by the names Bella, Hella and Della. Forget Cassandra - Alexey Arkhipov is the true wizard of this game. This game makes you smile every time you come back to play. Not always easy to find either. 7. And not least supported by gorgeous music which puts a spell on you. Finally I bought a new one with a larger capacity and the children have their own. Look at him, when he smokes the pipe of truth and rolls his eyes

  8. A very welcome Christmas eve CE: I've finished all my shopping and pre-Christmas chores so this game brightened my day! The mini games are especially creative and fun. Comments 0 Views 8, "Long ago, in the Middle Ages," begins Elefun Games' hidden-object adventure Witches' Legacy: Awakening Darkness , a witch straight-up shanked another witch, because things were way more hardcore back then, and they didn't have time to wait for more than ten seconds into the opening cutscene to start murderin'. The plot is a full of strange characters and stranger circumstances as Jack sets off to rescue his sister, and throw the aesthetics and tone of Howl's Moving Castle, Willow, and a bunch of '80s music videos into a blender and you'll come close to what it feels like to play.

  9. Good gracious! EXTRAS: The usual wall papers, pseudo achievements and four simple puzzles which are unlocked when you collected all 36 puzzle pieces. It's long and I'm trying to stretch it out cuz I hate to see it end. Witches' Legacy: Awakening Darkness does a remarkable job of incorporating the lore of the rest of the series without feeling as if its simply rehashing old material in this installment, and if you're looking for something fun, vibrant, and more than a little oddball, it's an easy recommendation.

  10. So seeing Awakening Darkness introduced left me somewhat underwhelmed. And above all this, it is a very long game. I used to share my previous iPad with my preschool grandkids but I had to pass on a number of games for me because space was limited. There are a lot of cut scenes, but add to the game and don't go on forever. Now your body is aging rapidly and you have just hours to save them before your body crumbles to dust.
