The graphics were outstanding to my eye, very vivid and rich natural colors making them even more beautiful. The New Crime: Murder in the alley is about 5 minutes. If I want a great storyline I read a book. But we can go back afterwards and pick up any missed ones. The pace is excellent with plenty of activities to keep the player engaged. In many games it is pre-determined for us, which I don't like. We play as Sorell's wife Marjorlaine and break into the museum to gain an artifact which would allow them to become real humans. After locating those items, you will then place them back into the scene in the proper location. It kept me on my toes until the end, and throughout the bonus chapter, too. It's heart warming. And yes I am enjoying the game; it is a little cluttered here and there and hoping to see more of your games. It does have some twists in the plot and I do like the creative touches for solving each crime. The scenes had lots of interesting items and gave Nathaniel many tasks and clues to help solve the mystery at hand. All of the victims are void of skin, and by skin, I mean all tissue because the only thing they show is a skeleton so don't get the heebie jeebies yet but their clothes remain in tact.

The first scene in the game had me searching my past games because I know I have seen that same warehouse that was most likely recycled from another game. There is nothing new in the HOPS or the puzzles although there is a great deal of creativity used when looking over and categorizing the information from the crime scene. But I noticed that in the first scene with the body, there is no difference. Skipped the ones I didn't like which was way too many. Although an innocent, harmless folk, their appearance is not ordinary enough, and they naturally provide a perfect target for the hunters. Yes it was a little slow at first, but it did pick up after awhile. I just love this kind of subtle wit. If I want a great storyline I read a book. But maybe a little too Frenchy with the sister. He also looks as if he could turn into a rodent any minute The Amsterdam police have asked for your help to solve what seems to be an unsolvable case. I'm quite a dawdler: I like to take my time and soak in the scenery, and GrandMa creates gorgeous games. This alone is worth a five star rating.
