Donna Brave: And the Deathly Tree cote

It was an excellent game and I have enjoyed replaying it. Actually took longer to solve and very clever. Sadly, I was so put off by the presentation of the game that I found it difficult to concentrate and stay Brae:. The ending was abrupt and weird - clearly designed to go straight into the extra chapter in the CE, which is totally unfair. He seems undecided if she will die in 12 or 24 hours, but he's sure destroying the tree will cure her, maybe. Why send them to you when people are now dying in her house? Are the wounds one and Sparkle Unleashed same as the tree? Whereas Leon and Stefan care for Kathi, the other two seem distant and lack empathy. There is Donna Brave: And the Deathly Tree bit of back and forth but its usually within two or three Ans in the game and the map is a jump map. How about of each? By now it has mutated into a sort of killer plant and there are its leaves: finding one, you know, you are marked for death. The first thing I noticed was the lack of lip movement when a character speaks. I may not like the story, but I loved the bling available in the Collector's Edition version.

The Mini Games are far too simplistic in my opinion, and there just aren't enough of them, at least not in the demo. So many games feel like " I have played this before". Enjoyable game for middle of winter doldrums! So this was quite a treat to me! I find a wooden tool box that of course is missing a handle, and I simply can't open the lid until I find a replacement. It takes up too much time. And as the tree is growing and destroying the house, you, playing as Donna, all but cuddle up to it, until you get one of the leaves that guarantee you too will die. Voice acting was perhaps a bit lacking but overall pretty good. And you run thru the house repeatedly, to little purpose. Date published: Happy gaming! There are Silhouetted Shape finds, Matching Pairs and scenes where you place objects into the scene instead of taking them out. Worse, the tree is killing people who receive a leaf from it. Since we all have differing tastes in games I recommend that you try the demo to see if this game might be one you will enjoy. With that being said though, I Beta tested this game I play Expert level with no help and I enjoyed it.

Also, who wears a full length evening gown when answering the doorbell during Dolphin Dice Slots day? A masterly told crime story. I find a wooden tool box that of course is missing a handle, and I simply can't open the lid until I find a replacement. I don't know what I did for the Ultimate Hops to appear in the bonus content maybe it's tied to the morphs also. Great story line, nice graphics, love it. Start with a good story, and the rest follows. Voice acting was perhaps a bit lacking but overall pretty good. If you haven't tried the first one, you should. If you enjoy finding collectibles, morphs and doing HO's with a number of difficulty levels to choose from, you might like this game. Otherwise, why do we play them? To be honest, this game is not as good as that one and I really wish it was. Happy gaming! Actually took longer to solve and very clever. Graphics were nice. Both help understanding the current events in the game and come in quite entertaining.

I've never given a game one star before. The devices you use to melt the ice do not necessarily include matches. I didn't have some of the issues that others have had like with graphics, story line, "being unbelievable". This is a total buy for me. Sadly, I was so put off by the presentation of the game that I found it difficult to concentrate and stay involved. Is it a whodunit murder mystery? I hadn't played the first Donna Brave game at that time. This second installment of the new Donna Brave series by Mad Head is not as bad as some reviewers lead you to believe. The morphs are very slow. If you haven't tried the first one, you should. There is a good interactive map which shows where something needs to be done. I have not been disappointed but greatly pleased. It is all a nightmare trip from that point as characters disappear and the tree gets more threatening.

In the first game we could greet Donna as a new hobby detective, whose mission to help her uncle was mastered quite professionally. If you enjoy finding collectibles, morphs and doing HO's with a number of difficulty levels to choose from, you might like this game. If you can't present a complete SE game then don't bother. Rated 4 out of 5 by hydrogibbon from I don't understand the bad reviews I just bought this as the catch of the week and am enjoying the game play. It is not a five star game but I think it comfortably fits into the 4 star category. Enjoy and have fun! There are so many inconsistencies and logic fails, that one is left scratching one's head, trying to keep up with the story. Since we all have differing tastes in games I recommend that you try the demo to see if this game might be one you will enjoy. I've never given a game one star before. It is unfortunate however that there is no mystery to "who done it" because I think that may be evident almost from the beginning. After the game, you can go back and get the morphs and collectibles. If you find all the morphs you have the card game and the Ultimate hops? But I rather wait then not have morphs.

How about of each? I may not like the story, but I loved the bling available in the Collector's Edition version. Date published: I look forward to playing another Donna Brave game soon. When Donna arrives at the manor, surrounded by a beautiful park, she is not a minute too late, as the friend is being attacked by the roots of a tree. Even after releasing her, Kathi is deadly ill now and we, playing as Donna, need to investigate who is behind the corrupted tree and tries to kill the Wagners and their friends. 1. It's a generous hops game that you choose items from the list and it puts more items on the list. Others were easy enough to sail through. I have not been disappointed but greatly pleased. A masterly told crime story.

  2. So, as for this HOG, it's very interactive After the game, you can go back and get the morphs and collectibles. I had one puzzle that couldn't be completed.

  3. Use others reviews as a guide, but use your own game play experience to decide if you like it or not. Others were easy enough to sail through. With that being said though, I Beta tested this game I play Expert level with no help and I enjoyed it. If you don't, then don't.

  4. It's a generous hops game that you choose items from the list and it puts more items on the list. Yes, morphs in every scene and in the hops. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by nadaze2da from How does your garden grow? For starters, the game supposedly takes place somewhere around , yet Kathi is spelled with an i not a y, which I can't imagine parents in the 's doing. They even spelt 'Donna' wrong in the dialogue, that is how much effort was put into it.

  5. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by ninja from Lots of sleuthing, but little action Donna Brave returns, and it's not much better. If you don't, then don't. I liked the maze the best and I didn't like the fight scene.

  6. I can only add that I really enjoyed this game. Date published: Voice acting was perhaps a bit lacking but overall pretty good. Actually took longer to solve and very clever. But I rather wait then not have morphs.

  7. I am shocked; absolutely shocked that Mad Head would put their name on this bottom-of-the-barrel game. As this signals the end of the Demo, you will be as happy to get out as most players will be! Find a key, find a bucket, find an amulet, etc. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by nadaze2da from How does your garden grow? Yes the characters are wooden but that's very little of the game.

  8. This is not overused as gimmicks are in some games. I know the Mad Head team can do it because they are so talented, and I look forward to what they can do with a sequel in the Donna Brave series. The devices you use to melt the ice do not necessarily include matches. With that being said though, I Beta tested this game I play Expert level with no help and I enjoyed it.

  9. So we are left with a slow moving game that has the player running back and forth through a house full of really unlikable people doing some of the dumbest tasks I've seen: After being "greeted" by your friend Kathi's nasty cousin, you heist Kathi's blue necklace to bribe said cousin for her help! If you played the first one, I cannot see how you would not welcome this refreshing game. Should have read the reviews

  10. I know others have gone into depth about the mechanics and storyline. I find a wooden tool box that of course is missing a handle, and I simply can't open the lid until I find a replacement. That goes for all games, not just this one. With that being said though, I Beta tested this game I play Expert level with no help and I enjoyed it.
