I have played many of these types - call them riddles or mozaics, I call this one "the best" of them all. This is one game I do not recommend. Firstly, for me mosaics are a dream come true and this one has good colours and somewhat challenging. That said, I'm glad I went beyond the first few nearly monochromatic levels to reach those where there were actual colors like reds, greens and purples that were more saturated, enabling the gentle gamer to detect their finer details. Very easy to see where one starts or stops. They clear-cut the forest, and she lost all her patients! What a shame! After playing the demo I decided not to buy it. Give the demo a go and if you like this kind of game, I'm sure you'll buy. Who did it? Fix the colors and this would rate higher I'm sure. I figure it just adds to the challenge. What do grizzlies do when they are having a bad day in the forest? It does, for the most part, but pay attention to whether or not the game has put that slash through the number correctly on the left of the puzzle grid. If that continues, there should be some good challenges coming! They all blend together to the point that it actually hurt my eyes trying to make out the differences. There aren't any fancy power-ups, and there aren't any puzzles that can't be solved using logic. Despite of what Biscuitsmama said, there is a consistancy in eliminating correctly marked cells. The colors are more vibrant with greater contrast that solves the issue with previous games where it was hard to fill the squares without making mistakes because the colors were so similar. I think Forest Riddles have bought all of the games in the series… except Forrst this one. Even worse, you can't tell if something has been filled in Last Resort Island not on many of the squares because they use very dark colors and black a lot and the background, which never changes, is a very dark green. I love listening to the good music as I solve the puzzles. Fix the colors and this would rate higher I'm sure. Also - WHAT story line? Give it a try. The game is supposed to automatically mark when a square has been marked, but, there have been a few times when that hasn't happened, so pay attention and FishCo expect the game to work perfectly. Grin and bear it. There have been a lot of these Mosaic, Griddler, Nonograms, Japanese Crosswords, Pic-Cross games available lately, but not all of them adhere to Forest Riddles basic griddler rule of thumb. It seems they have dropped the challenge level and …. In this game, it does eliminate — not just X out — the blank spaces. Good challenges and lots of levels are just 2 great points. However you are penalized a star if you use a hint. I agree with another reviewer that said the colours are better; I still wish we had a few options to choose the tile pattern. No more wincing as the sound effects' music clashes with the background music! Most of the colors are nice and bright, but a couple of the darker ones were harder to differentiate between. It is just a nice relaxing game creating pictures based on the theme of the woodlands. This developer provided some much needed challenge to these types of puzzles. I really don't agree with the other ratings. It is two songs--yeah TWO songs--over and over and over. Soothing music and background, Luxor Mahjong, wooden colors for the tiles, and crossed out tiles just disappear. Give the demo a go and if you like this kind of game, I'm sure you'll buy. If that continues, there should be some Knight Solitaire challenges coming! The Music is pleasant Music Atelier Amacha but tends to become quite repetitive because there aren't enough tracks in my opinion. Grin and bear it. Foresst wanted shorter flowers and more honey. Why did the tree pull off the highway in a hurry?
Why did the snake slither across the forest floor? It's a good quality game, but a bit too easy. Why did the soft-spoken tree surgeon go ballistic on a group of lumberjacks?
