Confront an ancient evil and uncover your true destiny in Untold History: Descendant of the Sun! You spent your whole life believing that you were an orphan. But one night, your world is changed forever when an unexpected visitor arrives with a startling revelation – you are the fabled Descendant of the Sun, rightful heir to the most powerful artifact in the world! But as you set out to retrieve it, you find yourself confronted by an ancient evil willing to do anything to get the artifact for itself. Each step of your journey will bring you closer to your true destiny in this gorgeous Hidden Object Adventure game!I also liked the balance of HOS, puzzles, and adventure though I will say I didn't find it very challenging as far as the HOS and getting lost in the game on what to do or go to next as every game I play doesn't have to be very challenging but I still wished there wouldn't of been any sparkles and black bar tips on the Expert mode. Review based on completed game. Cannot wait to get back to it! Maybe a cooldown. The story is a little vague, but you get more information as you play more of the game. This may or may not work for you. The main game is about 3 hours long for fast players and has a satisfying ending while the Bonus Chapter is pointless but has a good length of around 1 hour. I won't go into what's there, or not there. It is well thought through. As with any straightforward objective, once it is reached the game ends and this was no different. I thought the game was well balanced between adventure puzzles, minigames and HOS and progression to the next step was usually well indicated. Any game with a hookah in the first hidden object scene is okay in my book. Even though the theme of the game is lovable, it looks and feels very old with outdated-looking graphics and uninteresting gameplay - the game is just really hard to get into. Thanks, for a job well done!
I found this refreshing and different from what I usually play. I still do not feel that this is CE worthy, even with the special today, but the SE is worth a credit and I am going to use one for this game. Colors were not as bright as usually seen although the scenes were clear and easy to view. Thats probably because Indian storylines are not for everyone. Hint system works in and outside of HOS. We have a whole world and even outer space to digitally move through. Nothing earthshattering with this game except that the setting is an East Indian theme very seldom seen in games. The story started off very intriguing but was getting way too "out there" for me when the talking animals started popping up. The story is good and keeps you interested. I also had little to no difficulty here. A lot of work has gone into creating these mesmerizing scenes which create a completely different experience. Decent all around but I wish I'd waited for the SE. Not just the background music, which was totally appropriate, and got me further engrossed, but also the voiceovers during the cutscenes were great. While the basic themes are, of course, universal, the cultural referrants range the entire spectrum of historical influences. Enjoy saving humanity!
Beautiful and detailed. Thanks for the reviews. This did work for me and filled my 20" monitor just fine and didn't appear to be stretched for me. The hint system is very helpful, but does not fill quickly 60 seconds seems like a long time. MAP: A total of 25 locations. You get a map of the approximate 24 locations, as well as a journal. Despite that, it has not other extras that make it CE worthy such as Achievements or Collectibles. I still do not feel that this is CE worthy, even with the special today, but the SE is worth a credit and I am going to use one for this game. The HOS are clear, not your typical jumbled mess and there is not too many of them. But this one is most certainly for me! HOGs are clean and clear. Untold History: Descendant of the Sun has strange graphics which is hard to get into. That said, I don't think this is a worthy CE as I missed having achievements and collectibles.

Moreover, characters are not very nice-looking and they nake no movements when they speak. Adventure puzzles were fairly typical for these type of games. Sparkles for HOS were very small also. While Totem Treasure 2 basic themes are, of course, universal, the cultural referrants range the entire spectrum of historical influences. The story is a little vague, but you get more information as you play more of the game. As with any straightforward objective, once it is reached the game ends and this was no different. I really like the Hindu culture setting and the scenes are gorgeous. I really recommend this game even if its challenging. You set off Untold History: Descendant of the Sun search of 4 talismans to save mankind. The book received from the box in the beginning becomes your Royal Life: Hard to be a Queen and you find scrolls throughout the game [some can be hard to see unless you know to look for them] that provide background information about the task at hand and they go into your journal but i did not find the journal of much help. We are happy to see that their new game, Untold History, also has an interesting oriental setting — unfortunately, the game Dolphin Dice Slots is not as satisfying. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by skullfun from Descendant of the sun what magical fun And, now it is and it's better than I thought it was going to be. More like this, please!!! As always, give it a whirl and decide for yourself.
MAP: A total of 25 locations. This is transporter and shows where you are as there are circles on the map and the one with "yellow" is where you are. Date published: Inventory locks and items are used fairly quickly and a task tab is located here that gives you the main task you are to complete. I'll not be doing my usual, word-y, review of this game, since the whole game is downloading, and will be ready to play before I get done! Cannot wait to get back to it! Casual mode has sparkles and it takes about 1 minute for hint to recharge but there's so much to do that you won't notice that it takes that long. But this one is most certainly for me! Something tells me I should have splurged for CE version. Puzzles are varied in variety and in difficulty also some will take a bit of time even though not very hard. While telling her this, he is killed by a man referring to him as "brother" and warns her to stay out of his way. The HOPS could be more interactive.
It has nice graphics and well done VO's. This may or may not work for you. And there will be backtracking to use some of the inventory. The graphics for me were quite well done. Untole is a game that has okay, but simple graphics, ov starts out very slow but picks up once the journey begins. Just a couple technical things: I LOVE the fact Hospital Manager even tho' I chose the "casual" mode to play the trial [something I always do for the 1st hour] - it was SO great that even though there were Green Ranch where there was a HOS that showed as soon as you got to that screenshot, the other items that required an action DIDN'T glint right away. I've played it at my daughter's house a I was babysitting and I enjoyed it. I played the Nevertales: Hidden Doorway Collectors Edition and I am definitely going to buy the full version. The locales are different, not the kind you'd see in the rest of the HOPA games out here.
