Lufe: are two Gadgets, the first one is just a Mechanical Owl that reaches objects normally unreachable but it doesn't require any effort on the players part, the owl pf appears when the zoom zone is clicked.

Developers poured their heart and soul into each new game in a series, they were downright proud of their creations, their "babies. I played the Reflctions game for this some months ago and I've been waiting on it to come out. Good game! Love the stained glass hops and the animated story hops. Nice minigames, morphing objects and jewelry art objects and scraps of paper to find - some easily found, some very well hidden. What looked like scissors are pinchers aka tongs in gameplay also in the bonus chapter.

There is a gimmick in this Reflections of Life game as in others in the series but after using the Vermin Catcher a few times, I was sick of having to use it again and again and again only to have one lens or the other break, which would then need to be replaced before I could use it again. About that story: I would have been happier if we skipped the evil entity running amuck, again, and just worked with the sisters' rivalry. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Volauvent from At first I groaned, but was pleasantly surprised On seeing today's title, Reflections of Life, I immediately groaned, thinking I was to be blasted with mind numbing purple and green. It isn't deep but is a lot of fun to play. Like I was taking too long. You may see something you like. As usual, the graphics are beautiful and not heavy with the jewel colors, which I usually don't care for, but Grandma Studios isn't heavy handed with it. The game is fun, as always and inventive. I have a vermin catcher that banishes the web traces. If you really like puzzles, this game is packed with plenty of them - some are puzzles within puzzles, but there are also silhouettes finds, pic puzzles, and a limited number of list finds. The second Gadget is a Vermin Catcher that is used 6 times in the entire game, and it isn't that bad with the exception of its name which is kinda weird There is an associated Hidden Object game variation where you click on 5 orange eyes when they appear from behind items, again, it takes seconds to complete and it isn't a deal-breaker, in fact, it would have been a really awesome feature IF there were more eyes to catch AND they were a tad smaller and slightly more elusive! You play as Charles, a man with a passion for gears?!? I had trouble finding all the jewel figurines, and I missed a few of them. Nowadays, I look for something different. Overall, I decided to purchase the CE version because the game play has many scenes to justify the CE cost.

You may see something you like. I actually happen to enjoy the back and forth, but for those that don't - here's your game. When the beta for Dreambox was released, I struggled to get through it and hoped that the demo would somehow be much better, but I found it just as tedious as the game's beta release. You have characters that talk to you, which I also like that feature. The game sets a fast pace and is very interactive. After a detour that took 3 games, we are back in the storyline of the first 3 games. Place directional arrows to create a path to navigate to the park. I realize that this is a fantasy game, but I am so sick of the underlying theme of these games — some evil that must be stopped — that I think I have reached my limit. When I find an item and immediately use it within the same scene, it makes a game far too easy. The RoF latest installment has breathed a bit of life back into this series. This game is beautiful. Bad stuff: Why would you want to take along an instrument or piece of equipment that breaks after each use? I don't write the long, detailed reviews as other players - that said, this game is quick and a lot of fun. The fragments when gathered tells you a few things about the story. Reflections of Life: Dream Box features incredible visuals, ranging from intricate artwork and eye-candy location designs to glossy colors and impressive animations. Overall the game was far too easy for someone who has literally played close to 2, HOPA games. Somewhere along the road, I changed too, I evolved right along with the games, no longer content with the same ole cookie-cutter versions.

  1. The Guardians are called upon to help the people of a small town that are being turned to amber. But still it is back to what we knew and loved. It's always a nice bonus to have morphing and other objects to locate in all scenes: for me, there can never be too many extra gems to locate.

  2. Luckily you have the Vermin Catcher, a device to banish evil green webs associated with evil magic. Arrange the puppets' position using various dials, one affects others. When it would shatter at each use, I would almost groan at having to find yet another replacement lens.

  3. At times I loved the Reflections of Life games and I found myself eagerly awaiting each new game but that is no longer the case. You have a stain glass hops and a story box hops that is animated that I especially liked. There is a gimmick in this Reflections of Life game as in others in the series but after using the Vermin Catcher a few times, I was sick of having to use it again and again and again only to have one lens or the other break, which would then need to be replaced before I could use it again. I used the wallpaper with the greenhouse and fountain for a while and from the concept art I used the stain glass hops picture for a while.

  4. There are jewel figurines to find, 1 - 2 per scene and are a bit hard to see so that's cool, plus paper fragments and morphs. Arrange the puppets' position using various dials, one affects others. The hops are simply Lovely. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Amethyst37 from Enjoyable game I thought this was a fun game.
