The game is a good length as is the bonus game. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by DamaArwen from Mirror, mirror Is all that worth the price of an extra game? Objects in purple are hidden and require an extra step for you to find it. Date published: And the amazing music keeps you at the edge of your seat. Bloody Mary is watching. It may seem overwhelming at first, but if you stick with it, it just gets better and better. Kept the 'edge of your seat' feeling going. In Casual Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge quickly and there are sparkles to indicate active areas. The last installment was a disappointment, but every series has its weak link, even MCF and the other 'big' names. There also is a nice creepy overtone to the game. Hint recharged fairly quickly I played on middle of three settings and gives specific instructions use this here so I'm not sure how much of a bonus the SG really is. With Bloody Mary we get plenty of music, wallpapers, concept art, achievements, collectibles that have a nice little touch because they are intertwined into the story and a lengthy bonus chapter. The minigames are really creative, but not too challenging, even on hardcore mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dollyflower from Outstanding Game I just replayed this game after many years. In Advanced Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge at a slower pace and there are no sparkles for active areas. I love that!! There is much to do in this game but I never once felt overwhelmed or bored, and found myself eager to go back and forth. I purchased the game when it first came out. Menu - The menu button is found in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. The minigames ranged from easy to medium one or two more difficult if you don't see the 'catch'. Wholehearted recommendation for this one - even at the CE price especially is you get it on a weekend 'special'. The bonus chapter wasn't as strong as the game - I didn't feel as invested in the story, and there were a few more mistakes: 'click boxes' much too small for the items, some typos - looks like they rushed that part a bit. I'm looking forward to playing others in the series. In fact, Elephant Games, the developers, have really surpassed themselves with this one. In Hardcore mode, the hint and skip buttons are disabled and there are no sparkles for active areas. There are also 16 gargoyles to collect, that are dotted around the game, and 10 achievements to aim for.

I also liked that this game wasn't dominated by too many HOS. This game is well worth the money; even though I bought it during a sale, I still would Grim Tales: Bloody Mary Collectors Edition have complained had I paid the full price. All that said, it wasn't an 'over the top' game by any stretch - maybe not for little kiddies, Collecors anyone nine or ten or over should be Gems of Magic: Lost Family. Plus, I like a good scare. It may seem overwhelming at first, Love Chronicles: The Spell if you stick with it, it just gets better and better. The HOS were all well done, no random junkpiles, and they kept the same style art throughout the game. A few typos here and there minor stuffa couple of poor translations in the BC, that's all I can think of. Nice ending. In fact, Elephant Games, the developers, have really surpassed themselves with this one. Just hover your mouse over that area to make it appear. Music fit the game perfectly - I already mentioned the 'song'. She wants you to come and get her, so she can escape.

As usual with Elephant games, the graphics are top notch. Bloody Mary is watching. Date published: She wants you to come and get her, so she can escape. Purchase CE since the bonus chapter is very long and even more fun to play than the game itself. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by miuccia21 from Best scary game ever! Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in on an area to get a closer look. As I always turn off voices and music, can't comment on those. Definately had great time playing it, wonderful graphics. The map was interactive jump and showed where there were Things to Do tm , but didn't list them for you this time around - I call that an improvement, your opinion may differ. As for gameplay, you should get at least six hours of play out of the game, particularly if you like to take your time and really enjoy the artwork, the Loves Epitaph, the story and the Geim puzzles instead of rushing your way through just to get to Edotion end. You really should. The collectibles are obvious, and for every you find you get to watch a "cinema" that is supposed to help explain the background and story. Deeply engrossing, it grips you and doesn't let you off the hook. Plus, I like a good scare. The game is a good length as is the bonus game. The storyline is creepy and fun!

As for gameplay, you should get at least six hours of play out of the game, particularly if you like to take your time and really enjoy the artwork, the music, the story and the mini puzzles instead of rushing your way through just to get to the end. By far this is my new favorite from Elephant. This was great! Date published: They didn't try to get cute and switch up art styles halfway through or throw in some junkpiles to pad the HOS count. Objects in purple are hidden and require an extra step for you to find it. There are also 16 gargoyles to collect, that are dotted around the game, and 10 achievements to aim for. The minigames ranged from easy to medium one or two more difficult if you don't see the 'catch'. The storyline is creepy and fun! I do agree with other reviewers who wrote that some of the gameplay was easy; I found this to be the case about a quarter of the way in and simply increased the difficulty level. Is all that worth the price of an extra game? Deeply engrossing, it grips you and doesn't let you off the hook. Maybe that's okay on easy mode, but on hardcore? This game is well worth the money; even though I bought it during a sale, I still would not have complained had I paid the full price. All that said, it wasn't an 'over the top' game by any stretch - maybe not for little kiddies, but anyone nine or ten or over should be fine.

  1. In Casual Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge quickly and there are sparkles to indicate active areas. Hidden object scenes HOGs are just the right amount I detest casual games stuffed full of HOGs as they take days to complete and the mini games are mainly easy enough but with a few more difficult ones thrown in for those people who like something more challenging. Even the bonus chapter was pretty good.

  2. I'm a bit on the fence, but I don't feel cheated by getting the CE.
