But all in all, it was good to have them. Even though we are still finding hidden objects the presentation is excellent. I know some may say it is slow, but it is intricate and a feast for your eyes with beautiful graphics. One of those rare games when completing it is bittersweet, as I was wishing it would go on. Some puzzles are new or in a way modified, that I did not know them, something I like much. Even though we are still finding hidden objects the presentation is excellent. The tasks are mostly logical and spread over locations. There are lots of items to collect, and Kingdom of Seven Seals to accomplish on each page which made a refreshing change from collecting only 1 or 2 objects per scene. There's a device you utilize which involves detecting hidden runes, something I normally detest, but they gave it a "you're getting warmer" facet, so Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist that was all good. I just didn't find all the shards, so couldn't play the third game.. There is one thing that irritates me sometimes - when I want to go to the previous scene, I have to move my cursor very slowly for the cursor to Laruaville 8 to the Down arrow. Discuss with other players! Recently games have become very simple with gameplay being almost automatic: find this, use it here and then move on to the next scene. I have been looking for a challenging game for some time bemoaning the fact that games such as the Ravenhearst series, Madam fate and the original Dire Grove were just not being developed. As I attempted to evaluate why I initially felt the game was overly busy, I had to accept the fact that in more recent games of the past year or two we have been conditioned to games where each scene might have one or two active areas at most, which is certainly not the case with Equilibrium. All I can say is kudos to this awesome and creative development team for an outstanding game that is truly at the top of the list. Interesting story, bonus chapter and interactive "hidden" chapter you access by collecting mirror shards throughout regular game and bonus chapter. If you liked games such as Dream Chronicles or even the Awakening series.. The tasks are mostly logical and spread over locations. Write a post! Hidden object scenes and mini-games are diverse and challenging without reaching a "gotta skip it" level of frustration. Also the background sounds fit closely to locations or actions. Finding the glass shards in some scenes was challenging. There are lots of items to collect, and lots to accomplish on each page which made a refreshing change from collecting only 1 or 2 objects per scene. Took a few days but I wouldn't give in and played it to the end without hints, skips and guide. I could have gone back, but decided not to.. One of those rare games when completing it is bittersweet, as I was wishing it would go on. Good extras which makes a change in CEs these days. It is so unusual for a game to hold my attention for days but this one did.

  1. Mostly there are locations to be explored, if a next area is reached, the older locations are not anymore available. Graphics, sound and voice talent are all excellent. I took the harder puzzle version, it was interesting.

  2. I liked the story and graphics. It was a long and fun game.. It has a jump map and objectives marked.
