I hate that the bonus chapter has the ending Spring in Japan I liked this game enough that I would have bought the collector's edition again even knowing how poor the extras are. Go down the path. The map is probably the best part about this game though. I'd have to say, it probably took me over hours to finish it. Use Evio: KEY to unlock the gates. You can only search for a handful of items at a time, but as you clear the list new ones appear to take their place. Follow the yellow arrows to trace the triangle.   1. The story was not necessarily new but it was a great rewrite of an old idea, and the methods of solving it was more fun than I have had in an HOS in a while. Receive an AXE for inventory. Look at the counter. Zoom in on the container by the stump.

  3. Blue objects must be uncovered or found within the scene by performing special actions, like zooming in on an area or using an item to open a concealed package. Go down and right to the Laboratory. Use three large disks to rotate the smaller disks.

  4. You get drawn into the story from the very first second and nails you to your chair! Use the center circle to rotate the outer ring. The graphics and animation are impeccable. Look inside the box for an additional placement area. Moving one disk moves all disks on that same track.

  5. The puzzles and mini-games are mostly familiar: concentration, wedge and ring jigsaws, etc. Move the cloth 3 to find an outline of a Butterfly. You are the last in line of the Van Helsing family, members of the Order of Light since its inception. Go back to the Archives. This is without doubt one of the all time great games.

  6. Pick up a rock 2 and throw it at the entrance. Correctly restoring the image opens a compartment.   9. Most of Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes plays out like a casual adventure game, complete with an inventory bar and journal. The goal is to redirect the rays until each ruby is intersected by three rays. Look inside the nook below the fire for an additional placement area.
