There is nothing remotely exciting about the storyline in The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time as it is essentially just a typical fantasy story. Elefun must be quite a romping ground for spirits of all kind Also annoying is the fact that we still cannot read the credits due a lacking stop button. In case you're interested, here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if either, is right for you: The Queen of Creation creates the history of the Universe on her Canvases of Eternity, but what if somebody were to steal one of the Canvases? The game showcases the same level of excellency in the audio department; unobtrusive soundtracks, calming ambiance sounds, and well-synced voice-overs. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Find multiple symbols shown, hidden on pages in a book. Not only that, but a talking fox appeared out of nowhere and invited Alice to the magical land of Spectra. This one is a " no - buy" for me. This is a basic game for those who may just be starting out in this genre. The graphics are good in this game, Vagrant Hearts can't say they were the best. The gameplay is just as polished as any other Elefun projects. No overt violence, Tzles: cutesy helpers just a bracelet you use from time to time. There were a few 'find the pieces around the room' as well. I'm going to demo the Collector's version to Virtual Families if that is any better. There is as always much background information to gain from notes and voices in HOPs. The mini-puzzles were very simplistic and the hidden objects games, if you could call them that, were just too too simple. Engaging, challenging, great story line, characters, scenery etc For now I deducted one star for the constant acoustic irradiation and another one for the unnecessary shooting of a living crow. Happy Gaming! However, it would have been better if The forgotten Fairy Tales is actually something different, something that Elefun has not done before. Not only that, but Forgitten talking fox appeared out of nowhere and invited Alice to the magical land of Spectra.

I'm having a great time playing the game! As the powerful Guardian with magical gifts, can you race across time and restore the canvases before the universe crumbles? In case you're interested, here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if either, is right for you: The Queen of Creation creates the history of the Universe on her Canvases of Eternity, but what if somebody were to steal one of the Canvases? The scenery and graphics are wonderful, the music is beautiful, it's not an overly purplish, pinkish fantasy game and it's not an ugly broken down bug infested scary game it's just a lovely save the world, relatively easy breezy fantasy type game. Many feature the storybook style and resemble more a mini game to put misplaced objects back. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by happy from A Game To Enjoy I think this is a good game a relaxing game to enjoy and play the picture in this game was very clear it was good there was no problems with the voices or color in this game which is good I must say, I did enjoy playing the hidden objects games i'm a hidden object game player thumbs up on that, the puzzles was not as hard as I thought it would be and yes I don't care for puzzles to much but I must say I did enjoy playing the puzzles in this game, this game isn't bad as a lot of the other games we been getting, thumbs up on this game and yes I did buy it I myself didn't see anything wrong with this game as the saying goes to each his own. I'm not sure why this game is getting so many low reviews. The baddie Solas - fortunately for once not a muscleman with rams horns - looks like the shady manager of a slot machine hall with a secretive side business in drugs and women. Also annoying is the fact that we still cannot read the credits due a lacking stop button. The HOP's were varied, most were list after finding an object that will open the list for you. Date published: The outcome is obvious. The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time took us approximately three and a half hour to complete, with the bonus chapter clocking in at the minute mark.

No overt violence, no cutesy helpers just a bracelet you use from time to time. I want more after playing the entire demo Although we see some unnecessary videos, e. Mad Mouse plays it safe with The Forgotten Fairy Tales: The Spectra World, resulting in an ordinary dark Cytos Puzzle Adventure that is totally forgettable. You have the ability to choose between 4 types of game play, including customizing it to your own liking. Oh dear - they're additionally possessed by the Ifrit of Idle Indifference! There is a gadget, which can be either good news or bad news, depending on your preference. There were a few 'find the pieces around the room' as well. It's humorous and quite fun to play, albeit the puzzles being too easy. Give it a try!! This one is a " no - buy" for me. In my opinion, they don't present any challenge whatsoever. Many feature the storybook style and resemble more a mini game to put misplaced objects back. It did get tedious waiting for the next scene to load.

Oh dear - they're additionally possessed by the Ifrit of Idle Indifference! In this series:. No overt violence, no cutesy helpers just a bracelet you use from time to time. Therefore, I'm not even going to discuss them here. The Hidden object scenes were very fun and interactive. But I want to know who played the dwarf! The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time took us approximately three and a half hour to complete, with the bonus chapter clocking in at the minute mark. Would the World still exist? The mini-games were some of the easiest I've ever played. The only feature I hate, is a feature that all EleFun Games has, the "loading" page that pops up every time you enter a new scene. One of the problems concerning Elefun Games is that while they have a line of promising series, they cannot seem to be able to make them distinguishable. In the very beginning of the game, there was a lot of hoopla and excitement but it died down quickly because the characters were not developed at all and it was very hard to have any sympathy or compassion for them. Elefun obviously thinks that's not important.

The adventure part of the game presents no depth and complexity, the mini-games are brain-dead easy, and the hidden object scenes are all single-layered and insultingly simple. Alice who steps into the portal, and in spite of much dialogue with repeated information, we generally may rejoice: the colours are back! There is a gadget, which can be either good news or bad news, depending on your preference. There is as always much background information to gain from notes and voices in HOPs. It's actually a good game, decent length, and mostly easy puzzles and HOPs. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by ninja from A good game--bad reviews not deserved I've played bad games before, and this isn't one of them. The Hidden Object Scenes include those famous EleFun scenes where you find a handful of fragments located around the entire scene. Love this one! In my opinion, they don't present any challenge whatsoever. The game never goes beyond three screens at any given time. Rated 5 out of 5 by peacelilly47 from Ignore negatives! Would the World still exist? Elefun must be quite a romping ground for spirits of all kind Because of the interaction with characters, there is a lot of dialogue which you can easily and quickly skip so I don't see how that's a problem.
