Ghost Encounters: Deadwood

The town of Deadwood is being terrorized by the ghost of a murderous outlaw in Ghost Encounters: Deadwood! Break Blackjack’s evil curse and save the day while enjoying the incredible Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure gameplay. After killing 21 men while he was alive, Blackjack is back to kill many more! Grave robbers have unleashed a phantom curse and condemned the entire town. One by one the townsfolk are dropping dead and now it’s up to you to save them in Ghost Encounters: Deadwood!

The graphics are excellent, with hidden objects pretty easy to find. It's up to you, a psychic paranormal detective, to use your advanced powers of perception to vanquish the ghost and save the last remaining townfolk. No real sense of direction on what you needed to do and the order to do it. Overall it is a nice game except that there was a glitch in the software — when I placed the last bone in the coffin it snapped out and simply disappeared. The puzzles are challenging but do-able and fun. It was almost self explanatory. Be the first! Well, that's a tall order, pardner. Many have tried to stop the ghost of Blackjack, but all have failed, quite fatally. I played this one when it first out and yes, I have fun I never leave a review before. Absolutely loved it! It is so integrated. Hats off to the developers!! Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your review. The graphics are good although they probably could have been a little more gritty considering it is the old west.

Sometimes it's nice to play a game and just enjoy doing it without taxing your brain too much. Pity it was tooooo easy. It was rather fast paced and made me think hard! Enjoyed it immensely as it was a nice fairly light game, not so dark as some other HOGS. Absolutely loved it! I like having to search for items in order to proceed to the next step. I bought this one and am still playing after 4 hours even though I haven't got stuck for too long anywhere yet. Hint only in HOS. Long skip button. The storyline kept me interested and wanted to see what happened next. Would definitely recommend. Not spectacular like "Pickers", and not the most heinous either.

Follows well. Not sure why it is not getting higher reviews. Although I agree with some of the reviewers about the originality of the story and gameplay, I still found this game to be an outstanding example of it's genre. You're guessing and wandering around frustrated most of the time. As for game length: Obviously varies from game player to game player but for me was about 5 hours which I found to be long enough and sure entertained me. I did have to go to the forum twice to get answers. On the positive side Still trying to figure out how to get object out of water trough that is filled with green goup. The mini-games are quite Ghost Encounters: Deadwood but you can skip them. The puzzles are challenging but Mad Mouse and Roman Adventures: Britons - Season Two. If there had been less backtracking and more logic leading from one scene to another, this would have been a five-star game. I absolutely loved it.

There is no replay value. The mini-games are quite hard but you can skip them. Just not enough clues or direction. Long skip button. This was a great game, should have been made in to a CE it was that much fun. Write a post! Well, that's a tall order, pardner. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by neiljennie from Value for money and good honest fun! Must have been a hundred items to look through to find the objects, not just dozens like some games. Would definitely recommend. Maybe you can do better. The story is definitely enthralling. This is a buy for me cause I like to help kids out, even little Billie. I was pleasantly surprised at this game and look forward to more along this line from this dev. You have to rebury the outlaw ghost who has killed everyone in town, and stop his reign of terror.

This game apart from HOD scenes does not have a hint button and there was a couple of times I had to go on-line to find the answer. Vultures were a great touch. Great story. The story is definitely enthralling. Ghost Encounters: Deadwood Deadwoox have liked to be more tricky and more items to be involved. The environment Summer Mahjong graphics, however, are The Keeper of Antiques: Shadows From the Past Collectors Edition. Graphics are beautiful and clear. The journal offered very little.

As I mentioned the hint is not available for this but I did figure it out which didn't take long so it didn't bother me all that much that there wasn't a hint outside of the HOS. Not spectacular like "Pickers", and not the most heinous either. I bought this one and am still playing after 4 hours even though I haven't got stuck for too long anywhere yet. Download the free trial if you want, but don't bother with the whole game. The game makes you stop and think about what you have in your possession. There's also jig saw puzzles which I did those along with a few others. However, It was to much for me. Hats off to the developers!! The voice overs are just perfect. Hidden Objects were easy enopugh to detect, though Squeaky Squeaky as a hint was not quite descriptive enough for my blond brain to comprehend LOL Loved the Game!! Good luck. Things are not explained properly.

  1. Negatives: Too much backtracking to same areas to get what you needed which added time to the game. I would have liked to be more tricky and more items to be involved. A complete story with a satisfying ending. It was almost self explanatory.

  2. I did however get stuck and was about to unistall the game when I decided to read comments in the forum on this game. Follows well. I would have also liked to see more of Blackjack interacting solidly with the story, not an inkblot. Close Forum posts about Ghost Encounters - Deadwood.
