Finally I reach the bedroom where Joe is being held hostage, bummer, the door is locked with a keypad. Why reveal that so soon?

Oh look, here's your sign.. Another high quality game from Elephant. Elephant is so much better lately with the amount of time the inventory items are carried so you tend to remember where they go in this game. Play with sound I never play with the music , some things you have to look hard for. It's a good thing the code is written on the glass next to the lock. First things first, fix the broken wire to the lights so I can see, I'm sure a light won't alert the bad guys to use as a beacon to find me. Luckily that doesn't happen often and certainly not this time. In fact I've Halloween Stories: Invitation count of the many I've tried as a demo and removed them after 10 minutes. Some easy, some more challenging. An extra pair of clean underwear, ugh, prolly not, but this looks like the most awesome Halloween costume party ever! But I will let you find out for yourself what I mean by that, when you play the game. At one point did this lead somewhere? Moving on to the hostage situation, I enter an Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist maze of complicated tunnels, most of which lead to a dead end.

Maze: Subject 2. You really need power ups to finish the higher levels. By this point, I've already removed the famous broken skeleton key from the door lock, found away to open the ole "trap door hidden under a rug with a missing handle, used a coin as a screwdriver, solved a mini game to open a ridiculously complicated purse lock, used a rag as a tourniquet to compress solid iron pipes, found and used a razor blade to find a hidden treasure inside a sewn up patch, and of course found and replaced every emblem ever made since the beginning of time, to open up every trinket box and hidden caches I've come across, and this is just the third room! I'm totally exhausted at this point, this is a big house after all. Another high quality game from Elephant. Halloween costume, check. It was so abruptly without any build up. Absolutely Fantastic Graphics! And I highly recommend it to everyone. I loved the creep factor, and even though all of the tasks are predictable and obvious, I still had a blast playing it, in fact I've already bought it! Too many developers these days want to make movies and forget that this is a game website! Great storyline.

There was also an hop game where you have to cross screens a couple of times with a decorated table with food and treats all in Halloween style. I say, make me show proof of age cause I can double it! Rated 5 out of 5 by Alicun from Excellent Halloween Adventure I bought this game right after it came out. Surely it will be difficult to find Joe in this huge mansion filled with things that go bump in the night, right? The SE end is not reliant on the CE play. My fav part of the game other than the great scenes and game play was the Bonus content. A definite recommend for any HO gamer who loves Halloween. 1. Did I mention the bars on the cage are so wide I could stick my hand through them, if it weren't being guarded by an attack steroid ridden spider? At least try the demo For me the game was also long enough, a couple of hours.

  2. Good Luck fellow Fishys!!! Moving on to the hostage situation, I enter an underground maze of complicated tunnels, most of which lead to a dead end. MANY different things to search for, no back and forth constantly, great graphics, sounds, mini puzzles all different and does make you think in a very interesting and fun way. What an awesome game.

  3. An extra pair of clean underwear, prolly not, but this looks like the most awesome Halloween costume party ever! There was also one puzzle that seemed frustrating to me until I tried it. 4. Makes you feel like you are a participant in the story. That's because it's real, these guys are the real McCoy's, and these two orphans are in for an unforgettable evening, as they try desperately to find each other first, and then a way out, before the Beyonders do terrible beyonder things to them! I had to skip past a few circle games I didn't quite get, but that's a minor. However, it is not a pretty, pretty type of graphics. Jane is part of an order called "seers" as were her parents.

  6. Regardless I enjoyed myself very much. The Collector's Edition mostly has a bunch of creepy dolls and clowns speaking Latin, Spiders and cobwebs, shadows and objects that come to life and some even jump out at you. The HOPS were interesting to look at, and the puzzles varied.

  7. It's a good thing I have a map to follow, don't all mansions come stock with a map? I have just finished playing this game and I enjoyed it so much. The story line is good.

  8. Halloween costume, check. It is a bit on the short side, offering only 3 chapters, but that doesn't bother me as long as it has a good plot, and this one certainly does. It sounds like so much fun. There's lot's of rooms to explore and the story line and characters were very well done all the way through to the end.
