Sable Maze 2: Norwich Caves Collector's Edition [FINAL]

I have been playing HOPA games for well over 10 years and even after all of that time the standard list type scenes remain my favorite. This is another style of puzzle not seen in many HOP games. I am not a puzzle person but there were quite a few mini games I enjoyed. I remember when Sullivan River was first released, and I bought the game without hesitation, and loved every minute of it. In this Collector's Edition version, there are Family Portraits to collect, and hidden Shadows to find. These shadow beings are threatening to harvest your soul, taking your life force — forever. In parts scary and suspenseful, this is a psychological thriller. I counted 20 mini games I only skipped 2. The game has a ton of puzzles — maybe more than I have seen in a lot of games but again gamers keep clamoring for more puzzles and more difficult puzzles. They do vary in difficulty and design. Tears came to my eyes at the ending. There are many things to do in each scene without having to go back and forth in frustration.

This was disappointing to me. I loved it. Happy gaming! However, the arrows which are supposed to help keep that ball in the green area do not work very well — either that or I am a klutz! It is just so beautiful with sun rays streaming through the forest and fireflies bouncing around. The storyline grabs you at the start and pulls you in. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by moonlanding from Nightmare Shadows Can you imagine if you fell asleep and became trapped in your own nightmarish dreams and memories? Standing on a cliff, you see your house melt away, in some distance a gate in a wall. Music, voice overs are almost perfect. It has a bittersweet ending and is well worth the price of this game. Probably both are true. Even the 3D map is a work of art. The graphics engage you in a mind maze and well depict a nightmare world with the depiction of the scarecrow-esque Shadow Man lurking behind the scenes. Most horror light games are in dreary locations or at night. The storyline was good and easy to follow.

There is also an interactive map which you can use to jump to different location, the point of interest is clearly marked. The game has a ton of puzzles — maybe Lucky Luke: Transcontinental Railroad than I have seen in a lot of games but again gamers keep clamoring for more puzzles and more difficult puzzles. However, toward the end of the main part of the game, there were quite a few storybook scenes in which you locate items listed in BOLD letters. This is truly one of the best psychological thrillers of the year and quite a nice surprise from Daily Magic. I love logic problems so this puzzle was one I wished to play. I counted 20 mini games I only skipped 2. It leaves you to just stop and stare at all Sable Maze: Norwich Caves Collectors Edition Path To Success and effort that went into this scene. Kudos, dev! There are several FROG scenes, which are seldom seen in most games nowadays. Since then, Sable Maze has had it's ups and downs, but I continue to enjoy this series, and Nightmare Shadows will definitely join my series collection. I am not a puzzle person but there were quite a few mini games I enjoyed. I did play most MG in this game which says a lot for me to finish that many. The HOs are fun and amazingly interactive. Thankful for a hopefully good night ahead of you, you take two of them and Youda Farmer 2: Save the Village asleep. That creepy guy is not getting into my dreams!

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by moonlanding from Nightmare Shadows Can you imagine if you fell asleep and became trapped in your own nightmarish dreams and memories? Most of the games were excellent and this game continues in that trend, which is a bit unusual since many series seem to decline in storyline appeal after several years. You will restore many pictures through rotating rings, moving tiles, and switch puzzles. This is what I loved most. The items are easy to locate. In one, you must keep a token in the green area of a bar while duking it out with an evildoer. The Walkthrough Guide is 44 pages and the CE bonus play is 8 pages of gameplay. It is just another thing to show the amount of time and effort that went in to perfecting it. Well, you do since you play the game as Mr. Deep within the recesses of your nightmares looms a larger-than-life Shadow Man who is threatening you. The storyline was good and easy to follow. The game has a ton of puzzles — maybe more than I have seen in a lot of games but again gamers keep clamoring for more puzzles and more difficult puzzles.

The HOPS showed Collechors lot of creativity early in the game but then it seemed to rely a lot on the storybook type of scene that I tend to dislike. Later you will enter your old school and always you will have to face your fears of then again. So here we are with over 30 puzzles in this latest Sable Maze game but most of them are fairly easy. Creepy factor is very high which I enjoy and the story line is great. You are lulled by a beautiful garden scene with happily chirping birds and Bam! Reynell, whose lack of sleep is affecting his job performance so much that he visited his doctor who gave him a prescription for sleeping pills. Hero of the Kingdom III am not a puzzle person but there were quite a few mini games I enjoyed.

The fear factor in this game is perfectly balanced. Standing on a cliff, you see your house melt away, in some distance a gate in a wall. However, you still have to search through each scene more than once — that does not bother us much since the interactions are completely different each time. You will restore many pictures through rotating rings, moving tiles, and switch puzzles. It is said that a man who cannot find his deepest memories, will wake up, but what happens if he does find his deepest memory? You also collect 15 Family Pictures. So here we are with over 30 puzzles in this latest Sable Maze game but most of them are fairly easy. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Cookie from Loved this game I rarely write game reviews, but I absolutely loved this game. The mini-games are varied with some easier than others. Read more In general, this part is just another fantasy hidden object adventure, but the theme of 12 fears sounds pretty much innovative. The game has a ton of puzzles — maybe more than I have seen in a lot of games but again gamers keep clamoring for more puzzles and more difficult puzzles. We just wish the level of challenge was higher. There is no way back, so forward to the gate.

  4. I gave up after a few tries! However, the arrows which are supposed to help keep that ball in the green area do not work very well — either that or I am a klutz! I am such a huge fan of yours! Creepy factor is very high which I enjoy and the story line is great.

  5. The graphics and cutscenes are polished and engaging. One, three or maybe ten? I did play most MG in this game which says a lot for me to finish that many. Graphics are colorful, not dark, sharp and just stunning — pure pleasure for the eyes.

  6. Graphics are of high quality and the puzzles aren't pull-your-hair-out difficult but appropriate to the game. The HOP scenes and puzzles are thematic. Nightmares, everyone has them and sometimes you get trapped by them. Some of the puzzles offer a choice between hard and easy when playing so it is up to you.

  7. I have all their previous games and did not hesitate to purchase this one, too. This game has a well-written script worthy of a Hollywood movie. However, toward the end of the main part of the game, there were quite a few storybook scenes in which you locate items listed in BOLD letters. I love logic problems so this puzzle was one I wished to play. Total play: 5 hours 5 min.

  8. It was a long game for me, worth the wait and was lucky to get it on sale. I found the game very enjoyable and think it is probably right towards the top of the series. The Hidden Object Scenes are the same ole, same ole, however, I did enjoy some of the locations. There is a multiple step one at the end of the game. You may enter a maze, leading you to places of your childhood.

  9. And a wonderful Bonus game to boot. From what I have played, it appears this is not related to, but a good addition to the game. The items are easy to locate. I had hoped there would be more. The aspect that disappointed us most was the gameplay.

  10. Mysteries of the Mind: Coma older game, but my favorite story of any casual game ever played, with the exception of the Reincarnation series 5. So here we are with over 30 puzzles in this latest Sable Maze game but most of them are fairly easy. So your doctor gave you some sleeping pills.

  11. I enjoyed looking at the Developer's Diary and seeing the staff of Daily Magic looking all spooky. I was happy to see this scene is a Wallpaper that is offered with the CE. Nightmares, everyone has them and sometimes you get trapped by them. As in dreams, your surroundings are sometimes distorted, schoolmates appear as shadows, still distressing you.
