The actual gameplay was Collectogs Barely there hints which was standard in the older games. It was a lot of fun and challenging in most areas! Finally, the built-in strategy guide will see you through when all else fails, although it works a little differently than most. Editikn adventure aspect of this game is great! This is no exception. Beauty and the Beast is a visual feast, an extravaganza, a veritable cornucopia!

She discovers that the handsome prince has been turned into a fearsome yet still very regal beast, and that his soul has been divided into pieces and scattered across the kingdom. The music and voice-overs were well done. The hidden object scenes themselves were good. In this little fairytale adventure, you play as Belle, who is trying to free Beast from a terrible curse that an Enchantress had put on him. But while the CE goodies are a bit of a letdown, the game itself is nothing short of excellent. I usually play on Expert mode and I found myself having to use the Hint button quite a few times. The absence of anything else is especially disappointing given how great the game looks and sounds the music is awfully good too , but none of that is given any sort of post-game treatment. It was a lot of fun and challenging in most areas! There are tons of HO scenes, fun puzzles, and beautiful graphics. Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favorite fairytale so it goes without saying that as soon a fellow fishy on the BFG forums recommended this game to me, I had to try it out! Map to find your way around. I loved that I figured it out. The Bad Collector's edition bonuses are very thin. I've played this game multiple times, and own the collecters' edition.

Map to find your way around. Sad I didn't get the CE. What made this game refreshing was the level of challenge. Anyway, try both these games - if you like one, you'll like the other. I agree with so many of the reviewers - great music, graphics, puzzles. This was an interesting twist and helped carry the story along. Things get even better once the action begins. Bought this on a disc from Walmart, it had Big Fish logo on it. This game was truly a delight! It starts off impressively right from the opening menu, with support for standard and widescreen monitors as well as a windowed mode, and not just two but three separate difficulty levels, ensuring the game will be accessible for novices and still pleasantly challenging for the old pros. I loved the inclusion of all the mechanical helpers and talking animal companions. Good hint system. There's no squinting or other things that hurt your eyes like some games do. Do I recommend? The Extra Bonus game is amazing and fun! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Scottiegirl05 from Great! I loved the inclusion of all the mechanical helpers and talking animal companions. There were surprisingly a lot of HOS compared to your average game and though it was straight forward HOS no interactive actions , they were fairly difficult. The visual was beautiful- eerie yet beautiful, dark yet light. After all, how do you follow up perfection? I know most HOPA's have that, but I felt this game had more items lying around than the average game. In this little fairytale adventure, you play as Belle, who is trying to free Beast from a terrible curse that an Enchantress had put on him. The one thing I liked was that you really had to pay attention to your environment as there were lots of items lying around that you had to collect in order to use for something else. You also have to find and collect these crystal shards that contain the Beast's soul in order to save him. They definitely could've gone a little harder with them but I'm not complaining. The illustrations are beautiful but smaller than the newer games. Finally, the built-in strategy guide will see you through when all else fails, although it works a little differently than most. Instead of a step-by-step, chapter-by-chapter info dump detailing everything the game has to offer, the Beauty and the Beast guide covers only the existing objectives, meaning that the information you need will always be close at hand while unwanted spoilers will not.
