When has THAT happened lately? They are a must-have for we gamers who constantly strive for quality gaming. It is worth the ce price but some may want to wait for the se to come out. The only drawback I have is that I'm not so sure it's really worthy to be a CE due to the fact that there weren't very many achievements to earn and you only collect bottles of potions. The story line is appealing. The diary is really a non issue. Unlike a prior comment, I think the storyline was thoroughly engaging. You don't get bored with achieving things just to move to the next task. It's like, "Here's the puzzle. The game has a jump map which is helpful as there are so many locations. Very nicely done.

I don't review often, as I usually pretty much agree with the general overview, but I am surprised by how much negative feedback this game is getting. The hidden objects scenes are not hard. The book was somewhat helpful to reflect on. I thought the length of the game was really good and I loved the puzzles some a little easy and there was many of them in this game. Not so many achievements and morphing objects that one has to choose between getting involved in the story or "achieving! It's like, "Here's the puzzle. In this game, I let the music play. The game has a jump map which is helpful as there are so many locations. Great game! As a previous reviewer stated Orneon has produced many excellent games. I loved that. I kept it down low enough where I could hear it faintly in the background, and it, too, added wonderful texture to this game.

But, there is no hand-holding and one thing that was truly wonderful is that the gameplay made perfect sense! Recommend playing all five. If you do, buy this game, buy the CE, play on the hardest level and get ready for some fun. Also, those who have read my reviews before know Drspair strongly dislike HOGs. This is the fifth Echoes of the Past game I've played, yet it doesn't matter because I can't seem to remember the previous ones except something about a witch! I have all of this series games and will be purchasing this one as Mystery P.I.: The New York Fortune for my collection. One thing potential players should know is that this Kingrom on expert is probably not a game for beginners. I still recommend, it was very fun! I learned with this game that a great storyline can add real texture to a game. I want only Defense of Egypt Adventure Games, which are SO rare.

Three were SE, and the last one was CE. Don't you all feel like we've been in a terrible lull lately? I pay for these games to be challenged by puzzles and games. There is the perfect number of them and they are spaced apart perfectly, too. Who wouldn't like a guy made out of exploding paint, paintings coming to life, helping out at a doll's tea party or rescuing a guinea pig and a nest of baby hamster's from a demonic girl?! No run-of-the-mill games here. I have all of this series games and will be purchasing this one as well for my collection. I want only true Adventure Games, which are SO rare. This game is a buy. The puzzles are interesting. The graphics and sound are excellent, the mini-games or puzzles are a little challenging sometimes and extremely fun no matter the difficulty level. The graphics are good.

I have played each of the games in the series of Echos of the Past and I have found each to stand on their merit. The book was somewhat helpful to reflect on. The graphics were absolutely beautiful, background music very appropriate, VO's not bad, HO's very well done and fun to play and the mini games were challenging. The voice overs are really good. If you do, buy this game, buy the CE, play on the hardest level and get ready for some fun. I do recommend this game. Not so many achievements and morphing objects that one has to choose between getting involved in the story or "achieving! Has a map which helps going back and forth. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by DiamondTiger from Excellent game. Some going back and forth but within reason and purposeful. You gotta have a good memory, or at least I think so, it helps, I could do the game without hints. Took me over an hour for the first part so I presume will be around 5 hours and then bonus to follow - so good length as well. The game has a jump map which is helpful as there are so many locations. The diary is really a non issue. Figure it out. You have 5 basic areas to search for the amulets and you can move back and forth to each area once you gain access. One thing potential players should know is that this game on expert is probably not a game for beginners.

  1. I learned with this game that a great storyline can add real texture to a game. You also get a journal and a hint button that quickly refills. This is a great game. The CE has a bonus adventure, a Strategy Guide not needed because you have an interactive map that shows areas you can solve , and 15 magic potions to find.

  2. The HOS are varied -- find x number of objects, find a list, or return items you have previously earned to the scene. Always a good clue. I kept it down low enough where I could hear it faintly in the background, and it, too, added wonderful texture to this game.
