Fantasy Mosaics 7: Our Home

New colorful mosaic puzzles are waiting for you in this fun installment of Fantasy Mosaics! This time you join our penguin family on a new adventure to decorate their house on an alien planet and prepare for the upcoming baby penguin! Challenge yourself with this exciting collection of custom built multi-color puzzles and have fun discovering stunning images hidden in the logic of numbers.

As a few other reviewers have said, in this game, the puzzles fit the theme, and the Halloween music gets you in a festive mood for almost everyone's favorite holiday. Locked Colors can be disabled in the Settings menu, otherwise, some of the colors are locked and unavailable until you uncover color-specific keys that are hidden beneath some of the filled-in cells The Eye feature allows you to hide the grid to get a look at the puzzle without all the grid lines, and there is a reset icon that makes it much easier to restart the level if you make a mistake. I recommend this game and the other Fantasy Mosaics games for everyone. Overall what I like the best about the Fantasy Mosaics series are the large size board in the game and the brilliantly colored tiles. I also enjoyed the fantasy pictures behind the mosaic sets. I whole heartedly recommend this series.

I deleted this game after I tried 3 times to solve the third puzzle without success. What I did not like was that the numbers outside the rows and columns are not highlighted when you are working on that row or column. You are given a number that you roll you mouse over the blocks to select them. Also wish there were more levels with 25 to 30 count spaces. I love the logic in the game that keeps me entertained and coming back to try my hand at each new game in the series. Thanks, creators of Fantasy Mosaics. These mosaics are easier because for example, if you must find the position of four sets of two in a row and you have already found just one of those sets, the game will tell you which set of two you have found, making it easier to determine where the other sets must go. The largest mosaic was 20 x 15, but to the developers credit, the boxes did not get smaller as the grids got larger. Even though I am a huge fan of Fantasy Mosaics and love Spooky Night, please try the demo to see if you will enjoy it as well. The puzzles are all solveable with the hints given if you pay attention, and that makes it fun. Please, please come up with either more than one song while playing the game, or else a MUCH longer endless loop. I have played other mosaics games but sometimes I struggle with the tiny squares that need to be filled with colored tiles. It is full of rich, beautiful colors, a cute story line, and eerie music. I have been hoping for a new one which would be 38 with a Holiday theme.

What I did not like was that the numbers outside the rows and columns are not highlighted when you are working on that row or column. I also enjoyed the fantasy pictures behind the mosaic sets. Those that weren't looked as though they had gone to the "We haven't used this" drawer and pulled out anything not related to Halloween. All in all, this is a very enjoyable set of mosaics. In addition to the new Zen Mode, you can also choose to play in a Casual Mode which crosses off the cells one by one, or the Advanced Mode, which only crosses off the remaining cells once the entire row and column have been filled in. As usual, the graphics are perfect, the colors are bright and the game play is intuitive. Very nice - I could play for hours.
