Well drawn gothic style graphics, a very rich soundtrack mostly taken from public domain sources and a good story and simple gameplay make for an entertaining game. It's all good.. It is almost too rich but you can't help staying until the final course is served. The only issue I have now run into, is that I can no longer play the game unless I were to get a magnifying glass of some sort. The mini-games are in a range of difficulty, something for everyone, and you can skip depending on your patience level at the time. The Bonus Chapter was great, but not needed to complete a totally enjoyable game. You OWN that! A whole lot of thought went into this game - it's clever and the puzzles are not run-of-the mill either. You OWN that! The storyline is dark and very interesting that makes you want to know what happens next. The music has an eerie feel to it that I love and great visuals. Some things seem random. The only issue I have now run into, is that I can no longer play the game unless I were to get a magnifying glass of some sort.

But that is far too minor no big deal. The hidden object scenes are among the most delicious I have ever seen. I am so happy I did. Both are worth your preview. A map would have been nice, but not a big deal because the quality of this game is so excellent - it is at the top of my current list of favorite games. Is a video game; 2. You OWN that! It is definitely worth the CE version with an extra chapter and other goodies like downloading music, sketches etc. I almost missed this gem of a game - I read reviews that it had loads of annoying sparkles and so decided to pass it up when it was initially released. I have owned it for years and have played it many times. Bon appetit! I needed some entertainment in these dark days of January, so decided to give it try when it went on sale yesterday. There were no voiceovers or journal but that was ok, I would have Editioj to have seen an epert play mode though, to make it a little more difficult. Even by today's standards, it is incredible. This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you wont find in the standard Hauntex. You OWN that! Some of brand names, logos and screenshots are used in order of qualified relationships. My only grip was I thought Mad Mouse were too many HOS's. I'm not sure why that was a problem for a lot of people, and I urge you to overlook that because you're missing out on a great game. However, the game is not easy by any means and it does offer a reasonably good challenge, although sparkles do appear.   2. The hidden object scenes do have some sparkles, but after you click on them, they go away. From what I can gather, the resolution on my more modern laptop, will not allow the game to open completely to a full screen. It takes a while to progress deep into the game although the main story is pretty clear in the beginning. A true GEM of a game, which for me is rare!   7. There is a great variety of HO and puzzles most ranging from easy to medium hardness, with the odd harder one once in a while. From what I can gather, the resolution on my more modern laptop, will not allow the game to open completely to a full screen. Enjoy your time! Just go with it.
